We looked more mobile after Johnston and Weah appeared.
I thought Burke had a good second half with movement and awareness.
If we are going to play a passing out from the back game then Bain should start.

Always difficult to discern what is really going on when you’re not seeing it and you’re listening to it on the BBC, but it sounded like Ralston had a great game and so did Sinky, Mikey did well when he came on, Bain did great.
Looking forward to watching it later. So thankful that football is back.

So 3-0 the Champs with a missed penalty, a perfectly good goal chopped off, a sitter missed and some good chances not taken…all in all…not too shabby…Sportscene will probs describe it as a scrappy hard fought win

Son of Dallas refereed the game fairly well I thought.
Ralston like a bulldozer, dangerous in attack.
Callum McGregor intelligence, makes the game look easy and uncomplicated.

Agree that Burke had a good game also – probably should have had a hat trick himself, but at least he is finding plenty of chances so the goals should come alright.
Timothy Weah enthusiasm was brilliant and the way he finished his goal was class.

Special mention for Bain…had relatively hee-haw to do all game…but when called upon…looked to me like 4 saves in a row…first world class and the other 3 due to his bravery and awareness..oh..and his distribution aint too bad ;-))
3-0 but should have been 6-0.
Thought the new guys did well.
Burke was too tentative in 1st half but put himslef about better in 2nd.
Got one assist & should have gotten two. His running, movement and passing were good.
Set up James Forrest with a lovely lay off under pressure.
Seemed to grow into his role the longer the game went on.
Got a full 90 minutes and should be pleased – a goal would have been icing on the cake.
Weah has confidence & pace plus an eye for goal.
Lovely Larssonesque finish for his goal.
Used sparingly he will be a decisive player for us.
Ralston had a good game & I hope he’s not badly injured.
Bain had little to do but his FIVE saves in quick succession just before HT were excellent.
His distribution was miles better than Craig Gordon’s.
Great to see Nir Bitton back in the hoops.

Well done Celtic, very well done to all concerned and was great to get the new bhoys on the park at get a victory, I hope Broonie does decide to stay, he wontand can’t play every game but he knows the score here and we can’t have too many inexperienced guys for the run in , up to him but I hope he stays, nice comments there from Tim, clearly teamwork is his philosophy , no arrogance and clearly pleased to be at the club, onto Wednesday.

Think it’s after the Hearts game tomorrow.
Burke is not a natural striker so it’s unfair to judge him in that position in a game where we have 80% possession. He’ll be useful in that role if we ever need to play a counter attacking game otherwise he will be an option at number 10 or as a Forrest understudy. What strikes me most is the fact we have runners in the team. What we need is a Sutton/Hartson type to hold up the quick ball and lay it off to the runners. Goals galore!
Bain was excellent. Slide rule passes all night up the middle. He may not be the shot stopper that Gordon is but he is as close to a sweeper keeper as we have. Play him as number 1.
Delighted for Weah. Was praying for a Burke goal as well.
Ralston was MOM. Time will tell if he can defend but he’s 1000 times better than Lustig going forward. Looks like he’s been watching Tierney re-runs. Pass inside and run baby!
