Only got home at 11.35 so I have not read all the comments posted. Our bus thought the German referee was poor over the piece. Often he ignored fouls by the Spaniards. Not the best I have seen from Europe over the many many years. Of course, he could have been picked by the person who had to leave Scotland and landed a nice easy job with UEFA.

First 45 minutes was as good as we’ve played against against top quality opposition for a long time. Calm
and controlled and convincing, we looked totally at home at the top table. This was the ninth CL game in two seasons fir a lot of these players and it showed. Neither goal was a surprise.
The subs and tactical changes they made at half time in the second hand were too much for a team that had put everything out there. We needed fresh legs around the 60th minute mark but had no one to bring on. They had experienced Argentina and Spain internationals
Paulo Bernardo had ten senior starts before tonight and none for Celtic but even deep into the game he showed intelligent movement and good energy levels for a guy who can’t be match fit. He’ll have learned a lot tonight
It looks like we won’t have European football after Christmas but we do have a core group who know how to outplay top European teams

Big GT fan here but he was caught out tonight on a few occasions but he also played in some good balls.
Not changing my opinion because the best team in Spain caught him out.
Absolutely brilliant performance and point, against a really top class side,Griezmann a fantastic player,Scales, O’Riley, McGregor, CCV,exceptional for me,we can’t get any luck in this tournament Hart saves the penalty, hits the post and straight back in front……not a night for recriminations, a time to be proud
Enjoyed our competitiveness tonight but I feel we are still long odds against to finish above 4th place. There’s been some bad luck with he Lagerbielke pen and red card decision, a narrow offside against Palma and a failure to hold on for a draw.
Tonight both teams could have claimed a win so, as much as I resent it, it was a fair reflection of play.
Brendan’s next trick will be to use the squad to spell some overplayed players and we must hope Hatate does not miss too much of our remaining 3 Euro ties

Getting very silly here,I usually stay away from the political stuff,but I haven’t seen any provocative stuff re what’s going on just now, guys posting opinions? Far from me sticking up for the politicos on here,but it’s the way that it’s always been,when you see good guys like Coneybhoy walking away,something is wrong and CQN will end up eating itself.
Just home from the game and thought we played really wellparticularly in the first half, against a very good ( but thoroughly unlikeable) team. I have only read this page so disappointed to see so many posts ignoring the game and talking of moderation !
