    Great performance again.

     

    My mom, was Ralston, followed by Welsh.

     

    As for Taylor, I admirhis commitment, but he’s very poor. As for Starfelt. Still don’t see a player there.

    rather than try and concentrate on what starfelt might have done wrong , 3 passes maybe,

     

     

    try looking at what he did right, 6 blocks, 3 devensivr headers, 3 recovering tackles.

    Is the fact that every time I heard Starfelt name in the first half I had my heart in my mouth and in the second half I didn’t actually hear his name in commentary a positive thing, in terms of he just got on with stuff in the second half?

    Starfelt’s only improving as the game goes on because mistakes are not being punished. He had better get to grips or he’ll turn out like Hendry, eventually exhausted by punished mistakes.

    Really watch-able football tonight.

     

    Easy on the eye. By both teams.

     

    The good guys won, partly due to a good keeper. Good to excellent performances from many.

    Turnbull back to his best and Harte, a real keeper.

     

    McCarthy to get fit and the re-born Christie to come back.

     

    This is a revolution.

     

    We are not through yet. That was a hard won match and AZ are Dutch standard.

    Also, great man-management for Ange to insist that new signings are being brought in to support the incumbents, NOT to replace them; good message to Anthony and others to let them know they’re valuable and the guys in the box seat. He’s a very good manager!

    Not read back…

     

     

    Watched the last 50 (buffering) mins of the game in the Regent Bridge Bar in Aberdeen.

     

     

    For all our concerns about the defence I thought they played well. Yes there was a couple of moments when AZ broke through or we made a mistake… but the defence were excellent at covering there teammates. Mega encouraging!!!

     

     

    Starfelt gave them a decent chance that boy beside me highlighted. I defended the new bhoy and then over the next 5 or 10 minutes he produced clearances/blocks/headers.

     

     

    A real spirited team effort. Magic x

    It kinda was …. Some incredible scramble defence by them

     

    And it kinda wisnae …. They’re a good team and fairly carved us open a few times.

     

     

    But…..there’s thunder, pace and purpose again. Oh how we missed that. Existing players performing so much better, and some new gems.

     

     

    Much to be v pleased with. Esp young Ralston.

     

     

    Tooting Tim and I saw him make his debut away to StJ some years back. Better and stronger than KT at the equivalent age. Would be great to see him find his way in the Hoops.
