What a difference Hart has made to the confidence, impressed by Welsh and Ralston so far.
Decent first half against a very tidy team.
Loos like we have more in the tank for the second half. Goals change games, another quick goal and we are in good shape
My suggestions is…to do whatever Ange thinks
Starfelt did some good things towards the end of the half, hopefully should help his confidence.
Great though Kyogo is, as a centre forward it means we can never go long from the back and are under pressure as a result. Would make sense to move him to the left with Eddie coming on as he can hold the ball up.
Overall though, lots of fun! This Celtic team will be full of excitement but may well give me a heart attack :-)
AZ are by a country mile the best team we have played against this season and we are coping pretty well, could be better, could be worse, amazing save from Joe early doors, what a goal, twinkle toes at his best the the finish. We will only get better, but we do need a few more in, Ange ball would be tiring so rotation is paramount, back him Celtic, you know it makes sense.
Missed the goal thanks to Celtic tv going off , GRRRRRRR .
AZ by far the best side we have faced , including Midtjylland . Things going as expected . great going forward , heart in the mouth when they attack . Hope we can get through this but that defence needs strengthened for the tests ahead .
HT Celtic 1 AZ Alkmaar 0….after weathering an early storm…not helped by slack defending, and an amazing 2 great saves by Joe Hart including a toe-tip save onto the post ;-)) Celtic hav dominated, scored a great goal and forced their keeper into making 4 great saves and their defence blocking a few shots. Overall…deserved lead

IMO, if we defended in the way for which many are asking, we wouldn`t be watching the exciting football we are currently seeing.
