Conscious or unconscious bias in Premier Sports commentary is clear. First half, Starfelt plays a pass forward, Rogic fails to win a 50/50 and they both state that Starfelt needlessly gave away possession.
First minute of 2nd half, Welsh plays a simple pass forward to an AZ player, and is then praised for ushering the subsequent stray AZ pass out of play.
No criticism of Welsh, just another example of Hartsons repeated attempts at scapegoating the Swede.
Don’t get me wrong, Starfelt has made more errors than most…just don’t see the value or purpose in sticking it to just the one player.
