  1. Sack the manager.

Manchester United should’ve sack that useless manager. What was his name again ? Alex Ferguson.

….we cannot afford a striker who misses 3 very good chances.

If Kyogo not fit don’t play him, although he seemed mobile enough.

Can’t follow the logic of the above comment.

We will need to sacrafice McGregor in the #6 role and play him further forward with one of Turnbull or Rogic.

That leaves Bitton, Soro & McCarthy as options to play as the 6. I think Bitton has a better range of passing than either Soro or McCarthy, so I wouldn’t be against trying it.

Square pegs, round holes comes to mind when I think of our current squad + majority of summer recruitment. We don’t have the players yet to play out Ange’s philosophy.

Hopefully, we can stay in touch domestically until January and just hope the recruitment is spot on for the 2nd half of this season.

    CQN article (again!!!)

Celtic “…collapsed to a second consecutive loss in the section after being THUMPED 4-3 by Real Betis in the opener in Seville last month….”

    ==========================

“…Thumped…” 4-3? Who writes this nonsense – the BBC headline team?

Agree with that, and was saying the same thing last night. Drop Turnbull, move Calmac one forward, play Bitton as holding defensive midfielder – much better there than in the last line of defence.

I did not boo Frimpong but I would not condemn the fans who did. Frimpong must think the supporters are buttoned up the back if they are going to believe his pish about not wanting to leave. Be honest Mr. Frimpong, just tell us the truth and you will get a lot more respect.

As to booing opposition players at Celtic park, maybe we should all boo them a bit more and they would not enjoy coming to Celtic park so much. It’s like a feckin night oot with the disco lights, disco tunes and party atmosphere it inspires opposition players!

    Big Georges Fan Club,

Yep, it is quite glaring now that Rogic/Turnbull combo needs to end.

Ange needs to be more pragmatic in his approach, at least until he has the correct players to play out his game plan. Let’s hope he addresses this for Sunday.

A good team performance & 3 points would give us all a boost heading into the international break.

  8. play Bitton as holding defensive midfielder – much better there than in the last line of defence.

your having a laugh , a liability , shouldn’t be anywhere near the first team.

  9. onenightinlisbon on

Bitton is a disgrace. How many games has he cost us with his sheer arrogance/stupidity. Even the game against Livvy when in the dying seconds needing a goal he pushed an opposition player in the back to give away a foul. Not up to the job.

  11. regarding starfelt looks a lot more comfortable moving the ball forward out of defence other than trying to pass across or backwards as he has a tendency to panic when under pressure when he’s tries to switch the ball from his left foot to his right when he is playing on the left side.

  12. Squire, Posting lots of sense this morning agree with all of it.

I checked out a few late night posts yesterday seems the head in the sand club still expect the manager to make a silk purse from a sows ear. None so blind as a board apologist.
