Not a good half from us but to be fair, BM are outstanding. Maeda is a passenger out wide on the left, so Brendan needs to make a change there. Hatate is not careful enough with the ball. Kuhn and Idah look dangerous but we’re not getting them service. We’re still in there, but we need to, and can, play better.
Defended well enough, but midfield are a mess tbh
GT was unlucky at the defending side of it, as Clunks said, it took a deflection off the lknee of the Chump Alise 🇫🇷
We’ve given a good account of ourselves Im the first half, hopefully we can continue second half.
Munich are absolutely suffocating us, very difficult to mount attacks.
I put that goal into mistake category. If Taylor looks across his line and steps up, that’s off side and not a second is lost even thinking about it.
At this level, you get killed for falling asleep.
Maeda through the middle, Idah not sharp enough.
Unsure we can change anything at left back.
Might be 15 mins of second half before we use subs. Can only hope we don’t concede a second (or more) before this
we wont make any changes till 60 mins or we lose another goal
Not sure putting maeda up from for idah (who has done well with what he has got) would make much of a difference
Not a game for jota, as we dont have enough of the ball to feed him
and he wont track back/work like maeda does
If anything I would take of khun and bring on mccowan to add numbers to our midfield
Hope BR can sort out something at HT . Need to show a bit more self belief . Bayern are clearly the better team but we have been too happy to play the role of punchbag in the first half . I agree with the managers view that we can hurt Bayern , we need to show more evidence of it .

Not sure what we can do better with the players we have. We are always going to make individual errors at this level. Only real hope is that they don’t see a need now to push forward, give us a bit more time and can wait to pick us off. Maybe then we can create a bit more momentum.
I think we shuld take a breath and hold as we are for the first 10-15 mins
Hatate getting caught between mid field and foward positions, leaving us a man down .
Maybe bring Schlupp on. Scales for Taylor. Bigger defence.

I heard him saying after about 10 minutes that he thinks this might be a game where Celtic don’t have most of the ball and they might have to hit on the break.

At this level it is all about FOCUS – we have held our own but – FOCUS – was Adam watching the line in the first minute, was Graham watching the line in the last minute, is Hatate aware of who is around him, why did Engles go to sleep and be robbed from behind- none of this is criticism of the players it is about an approach, an attitude, we see this regularly in Europe – the OFF Switch!
I did not expect much tonight- I am really talking about the future.
