Midfield getting bossed Jota not got the beating of his full back and Maeda has no presence in the Centre Forward position, Giokumakis for him at half time play it forward faster play from there.
A quick scan back and I am surprised that more are not managing top class teams going by some of the posts
Missed their gaol and they started strongly. A very decent outfit and continue to look dangerous. But we’re better. Controlling the game now.
Need more danger from Maeda. He’s a great team player and his closing down off the ball is superb. But he needs to make better runs off the ball. Would add the finishing touch to a good performance.
Left side of the pitch is weak. Jota very quiet, which is a worry.
Starfelt and Taylor will just never do,
I’m big Tams biggest fan, but I would take him off and ring on Reo,
We need a substantial improvement or our wait to win a knock out European tie will go on another season.

When bringing out the ball we depend on Joe, Carl and Cameron as a triangle
They’re using an extra man when bring it out allowing them the entire width of the pitch

O’Riley takes great corners- so we give corners to someone else.
Juranovic takes great penalties- so we give penalties to someone else.
I dont give a shit who takes great corners/penalties in training- means nothing!

There are 3 on here that I know of posting, or lurking, with the same coaching badges as Ange, or the equivalent. There are probably others.
I thought we played some nice stuff – O’Reilly playing well. Lacking final ball and a bit of dog, big Tam not as poor as some have painted.
I hate losing, but if we are seeing more of the future (from both sides) football will be a better game.

They are good we are not at our best. Hatate for Rogic looks the obvious & maybe Gio for Maeda,
A big half coming up now, we definitely need a lead going out there,
O’Riley our best player
Rogic and Maeda Struggling to get involved and create for us
Would like to see big Giaa come on, as well as Reo
For the aforementioned Rogic and Maeda
Would give us more balance and power
Our ‘big’ players ain’t performing …..Jota and Rogic in particular . We need to cut out some of the sloppy passing and especially the final ball into the box . Giacoumakis for the non existent Maeda in the second half and Hatate for the absent Tom Rogic .
I’m sure Ange might change a tactic or two
No problem with the defence.They are a good team,they are going to be dangerous.So far,one chance,they score a good goal.We are not pressing enough up front.They are getting to the halfway line with ease.Big Tom,off the pace.A man missing defending midfield.They have Jota marked well.Never see the electric pace of Maeda yet.Hatate,and Gio second half.
This is not a whinge,some guys just have an off night.
still building a team – we have weaknesses lack of depth for the style Ange wants. In the meantime, it’s great watching Ange ply his trade – will be interesting to see how he tactically adjusts to this very good side. A couple of their players would improve us !
