I find it hard to keep track of who says what about what on this site.
So maybe you could give us a list of who you consider to be the huns who post on here.

Absolutely contrast Man Utd making the most as a club with Alex Ferguson as manager, with Celtic’s downward spiral after the wonderful Jock Stein left Celtic the ole boards treatment of Jock was embarrassing, the boards handling of the club affairs was shambolic culminating in the story below, people who forget deserve a slap……………………

Contrast what happened to Celtic after Jock Stein left with what happened to Man U after Matt Busby was moved upstairs.
Man U were relegated.
There was always a view that Busby cast too large a shadow for his successors to operate effectively.
Well, its groundhog transfer window time for us rumour-hungry Hoops.
Despite 99% of the transfer talk ultimately being proved as p*sh, biannually we click on the many internet links, hoping for something more than speculation involving “a source close to the club” or a re-hashed story about the same players “linked” time and again to Parkhead.
However, why does the club inadvertently fuel our scramble for information by doing its transfer business so late in the transfer windows? Granted, we have Virgil and Balde in this season, but NFL has made no secret of the fact that we are still working “behind the scenes” on (an)other player(s).
The transfer window departures from Celtic this time around were signposted in neon lettering. Knowing that Hooper and Vic were leaving, why have we left it so late (again) to try to obtain replacements?
The policy of last minute deals harks back several years now. By and large, it has led to disappointment, panic buys and a sense of wasted time and effort on the part of us news-hungry fans.
Failure to fill Hooper’s void would be negligent on the part of the club, particularly given the cost-benefit of modest investment at this stage to secure CL qualification.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve no doubt that signing players is as complicated as NFL reminds us, however it seems to me that where there is a will, there’s a way and certain other clubs’ determination to get players in is evident from their seemingly more rapid processes.
Despite SkySports’ contrived hype and over-analysis of the transfer window (before it “slams shut”), I would much rather have the club sign its players on day 1 of the window, then come out and tell us “that’s it”. I’d rather not tune in to SkySports News or search the net, but find myself drawn like a moth to an ultimately false flame.
Come on Celtic, get the business done early doors. Presumably, work doesn’t begin on day 1 of the windows. Early signings would benefit both fans and the team management (particularly in the Summer when CL qualification hangs in the balance).
Rant over- laptop slamming shut….

I’m trying to think of something more articulate to say…. But I can’t think of anything better other than Dermott Desmond is complete and utter creep!

I’d be interested to know who you consider to be the huns posting on here.
Because it might just be that others know the people personally.
In which case you might end up looking rather silly.
Maybe that’s the reason for your reluctance?
And the point about Sally of course is that he already knew the names of the people he was demanding be identified. I don’t know who you are suggesting are huns.
BBC clearly does not possess a copy of “An Idiot’s Guide to Corporate Law”:
” The embargo, imposed after Rangers emerged from liquidation, means manager Ally McCoist cannot officially sign players until 1 September.”
Morning all. Wet, wet, wet down here.

Ernie,
I don’t know what makes you try and defend the old Board’s treatment of Mr Stein but just about every supporter of my generation that I know were utterly disgusted at how he was treated. As someone who has been going to Celtic Park as long as tonydonnelly67 (best part of 60 years now), our current Board are far superior to that of the Kellys and the Whites who treated Celtic as their own wee fiefdom and ran us into the ground.
Poor Livingston.
Mrs Burghbhoy in all innocence asked me today to go to Livingston to stock up on the old sun tan lotion etc for the hols.
She was surprised when I nearly choked on my coco pops!!
The smell of the ugly ones can be detected over the bungs as we speak.
Thank god I don’t work there any more as I’m certain it will still be there tomorrow

Can anybody help me out here. Does anybody remember the journalist who sent his copy to Ibrox for proof-reading prior to publication. In my mind it was Traynor, but I’m not 100% on that. Better still if anybody has a link.
I see Ledley and Matthews got some game time yesterday, good to see. We will be close to a fill squad for Wednesday by the look of it – and maybe another addition before then too?

Ernie,
‘I don’t know what makes you try and defend the old Board’s treatment of Mr Stein’
####
I haven’t. I merely pointed out what happened to Man U after Busby. They were relegated. It’s kind of relevant when comparing us with them.

‘our current Board are far superior to that of the Kellys and the Whites who treated Celtic as their own wee fiefdom and ran us into the ground.’
Latterly yes, they did. But we also achieved greatness under Bob Kelly, and not in spite of him, as some would argue.
And at least the likes of Bob Kelly were actually interested enough to go to games.
Tell me something though, have you heard any Celtic fan you know express views similar to The Great Desmondo about the return of the huns? I haven’t, and I find it remarkable that the de facto owner of the Club is so totally out of step with the rest of us.

Just reading that Celtic and a host of other clubs in the SPFL have outsold last years season tickets! Does this mean that Armageddon has not arrived yet.

You’re right, it was that bastion of journalistic integrity, Jabba the Trayn who ran his copy by Agent Whyte.
talking of journalists, I see our friend Wilson of the Herald is sure that we start our league campaign with a trip to Ross County. When these clowns can’t get something as simple as the game venues right why should we bother taking notice of anything they ever write? I suppose that’sa rhetorical question.

Sorry I did not acknowledge your reply on Friday i was off line when you gave the answer, dont know how he can be bothered with all that, bert i mean, looks complicated
Funny ain’t it, how when a brick is thrown through a window in a protestant area, it is a sectarian attack.
But when 100s of protestants march through a catholic area, chanting songs with lyrics stating GIRUY to all Catholics, it’s called “traditional”.
Big Mike –
that would be very positive news. Where did you read it?

Was it not Bob Kelly who cast the biggest shadow, over his fellow directors, and when he was gone they failed and became totally out of step with the supporters? Taking the club to the brink of extinction let alone relegation por cierto
Looks like the vultures have got bored with Peter Lawell. Its Dermot Desmond’s turn now.
Dermot Desmond is a brilliant but ruthless businessman who has made a fortune over the years in a myriad of business deals. He has always maintained that Celtic was his only “emotional” investment. However the word here is that it is more his children rather then himself who are Celtic fans, in particular his daughter. Personally I regard Desmond himself as a total prat, however our Club will never get into financial difficulties under his watch.
