  1. Bobby. Forgiveness comes when mistakes are admitted and acknowledged and lessons learnt.

None of that has happened. In fact we are being told there is something wrong with us if we don’t just move on.

I wonder what prize Paul and auldheid will get for their part in this?

  2. BIG-CUP-WINNERS on

    Auldheid

Please ignore them. I’ve observed you and the other guys efforts on behalf of us all. It’s bizarre, perverse, but all too typical that guys who get up aff their erchies and try something, become the target.

    Maybe that’s a badge of merit ?

Now parking the reasons for the criticism, collectively, individually et-al they have done nowt, not a single thing.

The consistent actions of that persistent, hostile ilk on CQN, tell me everything on being influenced by their poison.

Seriously, Can-man, BRTH, Morrisey and yourself, have been fantastic and persistent :-) over the years.

That’s a fairly serious insinuation, anything to back that up or just tour usual meanderings ?

Not only do they not admit what they have done in the case of the SFA, they allow[SFA/SPFL] the claim on the history of the club that caused it, I do not think I will be forgiving that until a full examination takes place by an independent authority, they are exhibiting no remorse or penitence how then can there be forgivness. I can though as Clogher suggested earlier remove myself from its toxicity by the choices I make.

I had a long Charles with Auldheid in KSC the day of the Dublin final v Liverpool

    (Well I listened a lot)

He is passionate about getting answers and I hope he is successful but now like then I didn’t trust our board to do so

Over the piece (thinking years here), the motivation or lack of from the Celtic Board, were central topics of debate for the Res 12 guys ? Some of it was played out on CQN.

    What a reply from NEGANON2 on 21ST JANUARY 2018 11:50 AM

For years on here we were told to be patient the club will act and do the right thing.

    Guess what I’m still waiting.

Do you remember when it was full steam ahead ? Then when they knew it wasn’t going anywhere it was we need every club to stand up and speak out ? Now it’s let’s forgive and forget.

Just imagine for a second this was us ? The doors in parliament would be getting kicked down.

    1. Cheating/corruption by the SFA/SPL/SPFL.

    2. Pinsent masons report & the SFA have the cheek to say the club can investigate it themselves.

    3. Dates changed in the LNS enquiry so they would get the desired outcome because if they went from 98 they didn’t have a leg to stand on.

    4. Other club chairmen with shares in old Rangers.

    5. Titles still listed on the SPFL website.

    6. Andrew Dickson back at the SFA where it all started & he was the main culprit.

I know there’s more and the list is endles & feel free to add to this.

It’s absolutely disgusting and the ones who have done this and the ones who remain silent in our board room should hang their heads in shame and for what ?

Have a wee read below. A club thrown out the cup for 1 error old rangers cheated for over 14 years and they were fined £250,000.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/15672375

The whole think stinks and the people we need most like they needed us in 94 are nowhere to be seen.

    HENR1K

    Aye. Lest we forget.

I’m not the type to bear grudges. Lightly.

I firmly believe that when wronged,a sincere apology should be accepted without question. And if none is forthcoming, well,I don’t get mad.

I get even. And it’s high time Celtic and everyone else adopted that approach.

  13. BCW there has to some motivation just wondering what.

Henr1ck they never even paid the £250k. Funny that….

Dressybhoy I think in the end it will come down to personal choice. It’s a shame that a lot of Celtic supporters will have to choose whether to prop up the corruption or leave Celtic. But that’s the strategy the board have taken. You being the victim of racism is a small price to pay for the money it seems.

  14. Neganon2

I know why I propagate forgiveness and it has SFA to do with Celtic and it rises way above football to the society level, the very society in Scotland that you yourself go on about being sectarian.

I have posted before on Truth and Reconciliation since 2011 and why it is almost impossible to achieve in respect of the Celtic & ‘Ranger’ bubble. Wrong doing is never admitted. Here it is again:

    http://celticunderground.net/nothing-to-see-here-timmy-move-on/

I suggest you read it and read the work supporting “hypothesis” from The International Forgiveness Institute where the main academic, Prof R Enright has been involved in introducing the concept to school children in Belfast where the real life benefits of his hypothesis have been observed and that is only part of his work.

I just thought the message of Forgiveness at the personal level from the International Forgiveness Institute might be helpful to those carrying resentments. That is the kind of guy I am. Its up to each to make a choice.

You can believe me in this aspect or not but I know my truth and if you say I am not speaking it, you are calling me a liar.

It came back into my focus following an e mail to my MSP on the repeal of the OBAF where my angle was the act only tackled the symptoms and not the causes.

    Me present the Board’s position?

It matters not how strait the gate,

How charged with punishments the scroll.

As BRTH sometimes says, we have been a pain in the ass and for what its worth , I am not on the same page at all with Paul but don’t want to divert from the process that is underway. After it as I said earlier lots of lessons to be learned.

  15. Ajax v Feyenoord is not a classic season far, I could always switch to Tynecastle and see if there is any chance of the ball being used as something other than a distraction from licking the shit out of each other .

    What’s the chances?

  16. NEGANON2 on 21ST JANUARY 2018 1:13 PM

If lessons were learnt then Andrew Dickson wouldn’t have been welcomed back in to the SFA & Campbell Ogilvie would’ve been sacked.

Nah matey, you are doing what you always do on here, simply abuse about Celtic and the club’s supporters.

It’s testimony to Paul and Auldheid, that they allow you a platform.

Throughout my years on CQN you’ve simply put the boot in to Celtic.

Quite frankly I think it’s amazing that you have the gall to attack Auldheid.

Now do you have any evidence for the insinuation ?

  18. NEGANON2 on 21ST JANUARY 2018 1:13 PM

Disgusting last sentence there. If Moderators are paying attention, get this post removed.

Neganon,if you detest this site so much, and Paul 67,why are you still on here?.All you ever do is try to sow discord. What amazes me is there are still some people on here taken in with you.

If I were Paul,it would be scruff of the neck, and arse of the trousers stuff for you.A despicable post.

  19. Afternoon all

I am not an expert on the ethics, the philosophy or the theology of forgiveness but one of the things I have always thought about forgiveness was that it was something of a two way process- the person or persons to be forgiven had to demonstrate some visible and sincere sign of contrition too. The Scottish Football Association and the other governing bodies have not made any such a demonstration. They have not even acknowledged that there has been any wrongdoing – an ‘honest mistake’ if you will. The same goes for those connected with Rangers #1 and #2. So for me no chance of my forgiving people who have not acknowledged that we have any kind of grievance in the first place

I do remain to be convinced that the hierarchy of Celtic plc has been complicit in the wrongdoing. I would like to think not but I do not know. The board’s sternest critic here- Neganon2- believes there has been collusion and he may be right but there does seem an absence of proof.

    Onto lighter matters.

I quite enjoyed the game yesterday – despite getting very cold. No injuries for the team, our opponents were not humiliated and Eboue Kouassi looked good when he came on. Strong and with an eye for a pass I hope to see more of him in the coming weeks rather than for him to disappear for a month as has usually been the case for him so far.

Ajer was mostly good too I thought- though he made a real misjudgement in not playing the ball near the touchline in the second half which could have cost us a goal. This error was enough to cause one of our number to almost wet his knickers in exultation. I hope Kristoffer Ajer learns from this blunder but I reserve judgement on him. Promising but a long way to go. Edouard took his goal well and he did well in the buildup to the third goal -but I was not impressed otherwise. There are suggestions that if Moussa goes we will sign Odsonne and break our transfer record in doing so. Looks a seriously risky punt to me if the rumours are true

I’ve had cause to disagree with AULDHEID on many an occasion, mainly on routes to the same desired goal. Never once, though, have I thought he has a different goal.

His aim is true-even if I think he’s hoping for a deflection off the corner flag!!!

Anyway , still watching Ajax v Feyenoord before the cooking starts . Some very young players in both sides, average age must be in low 20’s and quality of player looks decent.

    ======================

    Exactly!

The way forward is TRUTH then Reconciliation.

Forgiveness only enters the stage once a wrong doing is admitted and as the blog of 2011 (yes over 6 years ago) says the truth was being avoided then, but since it has been buried alive.

That is why it is taking so long for the Comp Off to gather a case, the implications of the truth will require some statesmanship to handle and I don’t see many of them about in Scottish Football.

We already have a top striker at the club for when Moussa departs, but he seems not to be in Brendan’s plans. As such,I think he has his heart set on Edouard.

At £7m,it equates to signing Pukki,Boerigter, and Balde. That’s a no-brainier,and we won’t have to pay three wages for eff all.
