They are picking our players up, almost man for man at times

Kuhn beats half the team
Brugge are an excellent team and playing with a lot of confidence. If they could finish better they would have scored 3 by now. We are miles off it and have been since the start. Crazy but that’s football.
Lost our ‘Mojo’ atm…giving them so much room. Engels….not too sure tbh.

Hate to say it but our midfield is not in the game at the moment . They collect the ball and it’s attack , we get it and it’s side to side till t comes to nothing , We can do this Celtic come on .
As a wean playing boys guild fitba,one of the 1st things I learned.
When passing it back to the goalie put it outside the goal posts.

Big task for Brendan at HT
Kuhn hardly had a touch of the ball until his part in the OG. Only started getting the ball in last 10-15 minutes.
Scales would never have made that mistake
Engels and Hatatate not at the races, McGregor isolated leading to too much space/time for them. They are not world beaters so improvement in the second half will see them put under pressure and hopefully goals for us
They’ve schooled us tactically but they’re not cutting us open. Bar a blunder from CCV, it’s 0-0.
The game is still there for us.

brugge started really well and faded as the half wore on
Hope Brendan can work out how we can get more dangerous possession
Keep the ball more and try to stop their slick passing game
Like a few fellow fans unsure of Engels , couple that with reo hatati . He is either top notch or dire ,so far tonight it’s the latter . It’s not beyond s but needs a big improvement second half .
Brendan needs to earn his corn for second half.
I expect structural, if not personnel changes.

Better team in front
But fact is that was the result of a bizarre play by CCV,
We have had a couple of half chances at best, but no real pattern to our play
Midfield absent, or at least not working together defensively or going forward
Not all is lost. Leipzig started well, got in front, but we got some control of the kind soon afterwards, not tonight though.
McGregor can be infuriating at times, though to be fair he is kind of marked by his opposite number.
Kuhn showing some signs of being able to cause them problems, Kyogo too, bits and pieces here and there.
Will have to do something different, they are finding time and space, and move forward well
Think we can score, but it will need to be from better chances than we have created thus far.
Tepid, nervous, tentative. But enough about the crowd… we don’t cope well with expectation, which is why I was anxious about tonight’s game. Brugge are impressive and we haven’t laid a glove in them as yet. Engels and Hatate aren’t matching them in midfield and I thought the og summed up our inhibited play. It came from Kuhn making the wrong decision and Kasper being too aggressive in his positioning. Big Cam was unlucky.
On the bright side you can see they’re afraid of Kuhn. Hopefully we can lay a glove on them in the 2nd half but they don’t lose a lot of goals. 1-1 would be a very positive result now. C’mon let’s see the real Celts in the 2nd half.

Would like to see barnardo on for engels tho, sooner rather than later
Middy needs the graft Bernardo can bring and the intensity of a McCowan.
Not sure our mids would be creative enough with a Cal, Paolo and Luke lineup tho…
This team,at the moment have shit themselves.We need a massive change in the 2nd half.Bernardo on,Forrest on,been there,done it,Maeda ,Khun,like 2 men short.BR has to sort that out,and the players have to show more ,wanting this.Going to take some turn around.Crowd muffled.Too busy biting their nails when Brugge go forward.Sickening.
Bernardo has improved the team each game he has come on. Engels may be a very good young player having a dip in form but he is not doing anything to justify his starting position tonight.

I would go for a solid midfield rather than a creative one

TB: I dont see evidence of total soilage.
But it’s true we’re being outpaced and out-passed.
Keep the faith is what we once believed; it’s not totally domm laded IMO.
