    Take the point after that first half. Midfield was improved after Engels came off, Bernardo so much more involved and Valle was a step up for Taylor. Hatate should have been off as he was either over or under hitting everything.

     

    Anyway onwards and upwards, hail, hail!

    Rogers needs to learn to mix and match whenever better teams press them aggressively in midfield…that’s what’s been said on Virgin TV at the moment and I totally agree

    Apart from Maedas goal,it was hard to take anything out of that game.Lucky to get the point.Brugge were very good.

     

    Or we were very bad.

     

    Thank fek we have Young Boys last home game.Should get us at least 11 points.Maybe enough.A point in Zagreb would be nice.

     

    Really disa pointed in that display.

    Got into the game in the second half, and we deserved the draw.

     

    Could have won it towards the end, but never really shook off their old school man to man marking

     

    Bruges a very good team though, and like ourselves could very well make the play-offs,

     

    reminded me of the the Belgian teams of old.

     

    Good effort in the second forty five from us though

    Take the point way off what we can be, midfield didnt give us a platform in the first half, the OG was atrocious, pressed when we should have went long to get out of it, sometimes that is ok, park looked to be freezing up with the water put on it, physically they were right on top of us every bit as good or better than Leipzig.

    Lucky to come away with the point. Valle and Bernard made a difference, should be starters next time. Our build up was pedantic, no zip and aggression going forward. I got the impression our players didn’t adjust to the sharper more intelligent counter press than they expeience in the SPFL, with too many passes intercepted or misplaced.

     

     

    However a point against a really good opponent is a step nearer qualification

    I thought that was an evenly matched game. Lennon giving Bruges too much credit imo. We were well worth the point tonight.

     

     

    On another night Hatate has a good game and we win that.

    Well wasn’t the performance we wanted . Poor from a few who were outstanding v RB , I suppose we will take a point considering that first half , that point keeps us in the mix .

    Trusty our best CB at the moment. Valle didn’t do much going forward but he did put an end to the continuous stream of their attacks going down our left side. Valle to start away in Zagreb for me.

    A lot of our problems came from two thirds of our midfield not functioning tonight . Valle and Bernardo should be in with a shout to start in Zagreb . Reo surely can’t play as badly again . We could finish the group with 8 or 12+ points depending on which version of Celtic turns up .

    Hatate ,Engels,maybe Calmac,midfield was honking.Massive improvement when Bernardo came on.As you said before the game.

    Brugge are a good team, however we have beaten better recently.

     

    Was a wee bit disappointed in our play, however we finished the stronger team.

     

    At halftime I would have happily settled for a point.

     

     

    We are still in the mix.

     

     

    HH, the journey continues.

    McGreggor culpable at CV own goal, showed no interest in offering himsef as an option when the ball was passed back to CV.

    Bruges never put one shot on target in the first half.

     

    That said they got their tactics and personnel right, and had good subs.

     

    Very difficult to play against, and not just for us, will be surprised if they do not make the play-offs.

     

    Easy to criticise Celtic……if you ignore the strengths of the opposition, or as is more likely for some on here, clearly unable to see them. And so it goes…..

    I would start Luke, Calmac and Paolo against RC this weekend. Engels and Reo simply do not deserve to start though Reo could just as easily end up MOTM.

    I posted the other day,a draw would be a very good result, even more so ,very poor performance, but a valuable point,onwards and upwards. I thought they were a well coached team,but standing 4 yards off them all over the park didn’t help

    Might have done better if we had played a midfield.

     

    Calmac, Engles & Hatate were collectively and individually awful.

     

    How or why did Hatate survive?

     

    Gave away the ball for their chopped off goal.

     

    Then did exactly the same when we took our free kick.

     

    Hopeless.

    Celtic Mac,

     

    Brugges will need a miracle to reach the play offs.Cant blame people for being down on that shocking 1st half.I said before the game,worried because sick of seeing this happen.Too many times we are on the cusp,and throw it away.

     

    Very poor from our midfield.BR badly at fault for not changing it earlier,AND leaving Hatate on.

     

    No service to Kuhn,Kyogo,Maeda,because midfield was so poor.AJ,poor.GT poor.

     

    We are soooo lucky to get that point.Lets not kid ourselves.

    Draw is a good result, especially after first half performance

     

    Our over playing at the back has often cost us

     

    Will strengthen the squad to compete at this level.

     

    Definitely a point gained kinda evening

    Liverpool did manage to cross it in (fecking hate short corners) and score from a corner tho
