    2 minutes extra time wasted faffing about.Disgraceful performance.Again Calmac at LB WTF is that about.

     

    Lenny,you have made a James Hunt of this team selection.45 mins to sort it.Changes needed right away.

    Well this is shocking so far. The team selection is appalling. Did Neil Lennon not watch footage of the game at Ibrox in December? This team are beatable but our players don’t know what to do. Jozo receives the ball and keeps turning inside to pass it back. Odsonne needs the ball in front of him and the same with Christie.

     

     

    McGregor needs moved forward. We can still do this but everyone needs to waken up including the manager. His first sub should be the goalie.

    Rubbish ,clueless at the edge of their box, guy peels onto McG and gets his head to it, he will need to either take McG off or move him to his normal position, they are doubling up and Johnston, he has done nothing constructive, Christie running about but not yet effective.

    Neil needs to change for the second half. Why play McGregor at left-back. It does not work and takes away our best midfielder. Neil shows no tactical nous. …… once again. We are in trouble this season.

     

     

    CelticTV a disgrace again tonight. Why pay money for this level of service?

    Although bolingoli hasn’t been great so far, the general consensus was that it was too early to brand him a flop. What will being dropped for a midfielder do for his confidence?

    I agree that everyone makes mistakes and the idea is to learn from them.

     

     

    However, the CalMac at left-back experiment has been tried – and failed – before.

    A very un-Celtic like performance in the first half . Another 45 like that and it’s bye bye CL jackpot. The defending at their goal was mystifying . First we don’t do enough to stop the cross and when it comes in we have Calmac , who isn’t a defender left to challenge the scorer!!?

     

     

    Petrescu’s game plan has won the first 45 hands down . Over to Lenny and the team to give us Celtic park type European performance . Hopeful but not confident. We need to get at them much more . They probably can’t believe how easy that first 45 was. I’m saying nothing yet about the atrocious referee .

    I was raving mad about CM at left back well before kick off…just check back a few pages.

     

    It was a nonsense win lose or draw.

     

    Unfortunately it happened.

    Haven’t read back but from those comments on this page it seems the usual things are being posted.

     

     

    NFL takes a risk when he fields the third back four selection in three games.

     

    Cluj have targeted our “left back” and we had a warning before they actually scored. A ball from the left wing thrown in high to the far post was just too early for the Cluj player to head and Callum managed to scramble it clear.

     

     

    Our defence are under pressure when in possession and our midfield disjointed and not linking well.

     

    They pack their midfield & defence and break incredibly quickly.

     

    We can’t seem to pass through their centre, we have none of the strikes from outside the box that have been a feature this season & we’re not getting much joy down the flanks.

     

     

    Big HT talk and tactics from NFL.

     

    We need to score 2 goals.

    I think the hint was dropped in Paul67’s article today – Bolingoli is on a yellow card and if booked tonight is out of the next tie. That’s why he was dropped in my opinion.

     

     

    The knock on of making that decision is as described. However, we are getting in behind them and with better decisions we’d have made better chances.

     

     

    There are more goals to come. But I think we will need three to get through.
