Just back in, these 8 o’clock kick offs are a pain in the ar$e. Anyway two becks and a packet of crips then off to bed

  2. Great result and a terrific performance.

I was at the game so maybe have a different perspective from some.

First half we dominated but Kris Commons gave them two chances and fluffed his second opportunity.

Both wide men, went wide when we had the ball and tucked in when they did. Wakaso and Tonev did a great job, then were subbed when spent.

Defence was sound and Broonie and Stefan worked tirelessly. Great sub by Ronny to replace KC, playing his poorest game for a while, with Kayal to stiffen midfield.

Zagreb are a decent side, showed great pace and were extremely well drilled.

    You know what?

They didn’t score, they were defeated by an improving Celtic side.

Add Forrest, Lustig, Matthews and a rested McGregor, fit in a Kayal, Biton, Chas and Henderson, and we have a chance of being a no’ bad outfit.

We sit top of our section with a chance, a real chance of progress.

Beat the Accies on Sunday and have a wee break.

Chances are we will be all the better for it.

The lad is a cracking player, but possibly too small for Centre-back in the EPL.

  6. This was an excellent game of football even if the last fifteen minutes were a strain on the nerves and even the pundits were happy with the entertainment. Brilliant strike by Kris after some quick incisive buildup play by Izzy and Anto reminiscent of his play for Guidetti’s goal last Saturday, more of the same please Stokesy.

Wakaso was a bundle of trickery and energy but please learn how to kick a football properly. Impressed by Tonev looked very comfortable against continental opposition, sharp and very quick reflexes in tight situations, his best game for us so far.

I said this before, I wonder could Denayer fill the holding role on front of the back four.
