Sure it is not champions league, but it does show a degree of loyalty and realistic pricing for families to attend.

I reckon that the inability to sell alcohol in the stadium removes a lot of the incentive to implement a ticket exchange system.

Would like to pass on my best wishes & congratulations to our esteemed CQNer Monsignor Charlie Canavagh or as better known here Connaire on his Diamond Jubilee of service to the Church.
To the best of my knowledge the jubilee is next Thursday, with 7pm Mass at St.Mary’s Greenock with drink & food to follow, all are welcome.
It would be lovely and I’m sure deeply appreciated if any CQN’ers were able to attend the event and say hello.

Bognorbhoy,
Can they sell alcohol during the game, half time etc. in all areas?
It’s a genuine question – I haven’t been to CP since last November.
My point is that if it’s just about putting bums on seats with no additional sell, implementing the ticket exchange might not be seen as cost effective.

Fair point St Stivs.
I guess that the membership subscription (annula charge giving you the right to buy on the exchange) would cover the costs and then some for a team like Celtic.
Seems a strange intransigence.

If someone buys a season ticket then that seat is theirs for the season- if they never go then that’s their choice. In order to change that there needs to be a change in the purchase conditions which would have to be in place for next season.
Celtic could charge more for the CL games and still sell out Aberdeen won’t.

so someone can make a selfish sentimental choice and deny some other supporter who would go that opportunity.
i would change conditions for next year, turn up or you wont have the right to renew, like man united , 75% attendance or the right to purchase will be removed.

You may call it selfish but it’s a free choice – I’m not using my car – should I give it to someone else to use

So Tuesday looms large. Like Ibrox, this is where Brendan earns his salary and I feel our system trumps the sum of our parts, which is way below a credible ECL team. We didn’t prioritise it in the summer.
Need Hart to finally do a Fraser Forster and earn us a point, or 3.
Shoe-ins are Hart, AJ, GT (Gulp), Callum, MoR, Kyogo & Maeda. 4 to fill.
Hopefully they are Hatate (60 mins), Lagerbeilke, Philips (a Rodgers gamble maybe and not up to speed) and probably Palma but might be Yang.
All sorts of leftfield options in the system but need to make us more robust rather than some unfounded toe-to-toe. We’re not good enough.
I’ll be behind the sofa hoping for a punchers chance, with a system that keeps us in touch for as long as we can.

Had a great day out at the home of the Champions yesterday, culminating in my 3-0 correct score bet paying for the outing.
We are very lucky to have Kyogo Furuhashi in our ranks. The Japanese genius as surely the closest we have had to the King of Kings. Here’s hoping we can retain his services for years to come.
Having watched Palma and Bernardo strut their stuff yestarday, we could be in for exciting times ahead if we can end our atrocious run of luck with injuries.
I firmly believe Celtic will not lose in Rotterdam. Feyenoord aren’t as good as they and the Daily Record think they are. As I have said before, effectively they are a pot 3 team and only got into pot 1 because Man City won the EPL and CL last season. A draw would be nice.
