  1. Scales has been excellent. Looks like he’ll definitely do for the spl

When everyone’s fit we’re going to have some good choices at CB

  2. PeterLatchfordsBelly on

Huge improvement in the 2nd half when we brought movement in the midfield. Good to see the new players come on.

  3. 3-0. Lovely jubbly.

Play your best players and the mood music changes.

Hatate so much better (because he does something different, and quicker and better) than Turnbull in the 3 in the first half could.

    Kyogo a superstar.

Back 3 of Johnston, Philips & Lagerbeilke in Rotterdam for me……

Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.”

  5. Well done Celtic.

Hard to play against 9 behind theball in the first half.

Once they opened up we showed our strengths.

Johnston is a player, tough and skillfull.

Another top class game from Scales. Great guy for accurate long passes.

    Great header from Kyogo.

Phillips, Barnardo and Palma all looked the part.

  6. Biggest worry for me in these games is not scoring

It’s keeping a clean sheet with 3 x new centre halfs

Scales has been immense, not just in defense – he plays a great ball forward

Phillips looked good (rusty going forward but he wil improve)

Lager Lager knows how to defend

Very pleased with the performance and the team

    My territory.

We may stood close together in the Coatbridge End .

I no longer live up north but I do love the connection this site provides through our love Celtic.

    Til the next time

Indeed good sir! Until the next time. Enjoy the rest of your weekend mate.

Wonder who Celtic TV will pick for the Jobo top 3?

  9. Solid.

O’Riley and Johnston were the stand outs for me. Quality players.

    Kyogo, goes without saying, player.

Maeda had an effective game although he will always divide opinion because of his wayward crossing and struggling with his bavk to goal – however, given his speed and pressing, if he could routinely cut out the things that frustrate us he would be in a top 5 league on wages beyond our reach.

Credit to Taylor who looks to have rediscovered the ability to pass to a team mate! Thought he had a good game.

Hope we can put on a show on Tuesday. The coefficient needs us……

  10. Was always a fan of Spurs….not so much now….still bitter at the way Ange dropped us for them in a heartbeat.

Doesn’t take away from the fact his “we never stop” philosophy is working well down there…

  11. New signing substitutes all a bit rusty but look forward to seeing them settle in and shine. Tuesday is too soon for them. Hatate rusty too but still speeds the game up with his quick and intelligent movements. Lager lager was impressive as was Liam Scales. Game on Tuesday a big step up should be interesting to see who starts and who does well. Personally I’d start Lager lager and Liam Scales and Hatate instead of DT. Otherwise same team. SHould be interesting to see how Big Joe does. He has been immense in past two games. I’d love him to really continue that on Tuesday because we’ll need him .

  12. ….if anyone here hasn’t seen “The two Escobars” documentary film yet, YouTube it now….an eye opener if ever there was one….

  13. Champions league watch:

    Feyenoord 5:1 Heerenveen

    Valencia 3:0 Athletico Madrid

    Juventus 3:1 Lazio

  14. Brendan saying Nat rolled his ankle end of first half and could have continued if needed. All about the mins was the main story from him.

  15. Thanks brendan, thanks the squad (‘thanks DD for overriding everybody else and getting BR in’ is v premature).

  16. Liverpool and Spurs both winning from losing positions. Liverpool were awful in the first half but ran out easy winners. Spurs never stopping.
