Delighted with that result. Others will be gutted….
However, we have to recognise that our pathetic defending of crosses has come back to haunt us. We got out of jail. Allied to that was some really poor decision making giving away free kicks and possession. Better sides will target us in precisely the same way Dundee did.

I was still watching 3 minutes after the game was over, and knew the result. I was still perturbed that we left CCV on his own versus 2 Dundee players in the last minute. Thankfully, he was up for the challenge, but it was very poor game management on our part, with Starfelt and our substitute holding midfielder Biton nowhere to be found.
Watch Hatate at Dundee’s first goal. He is more concerned with protecting his face with his hands, rather than throwing himself to block the ball.
It is my hope that post game analysis at Lennoxtown will address and rectify these issues.

I know what you are saying Mate, but IF Carl and CCV are only there in the opponents penalty area at Celtic Corners to be some sort of NUISANCE VALUE, then it STILL isnt working is it….as Celtic tend NOT to score from Corners too often ?
By MY RECKONING, Celtic ONLY had THREE efforts ON TARGET Today…IF you dont count Maeda long range and weak header in the 1st half, which went straight into their Goalies hands.
Dont get me wrong, I would be HAPPY IF Celtic WON EVERY GAME by 3-2.

Understood fine Phil, specifically the 3rd goal, Kyogo is the only other Celtic player I think could have scored that, delighted for the big man, we need him in that kind of form for the run in.

I think the only real alternative would be to change one of both if the central defenders which seems a bit rash for the sake of increased potency from corners. It’s only getting worse when Kyogos back, and so, worryingly is our defending. If we carry on losing gowns from set-pieces he must start looking at bringing someone in for one of them
We do look to be doing something different at our corners – new takers and short ones

I agree. We are doing something different. O’Riley’s corners are an improvement. Better elevation and distance, fewer direct to keeper. The short corners are also a plus – better to recycle possession than to give it away. Varying them also keeps defence off balance.
