“Site should have an edit facility to stop people from making a prick of themselves.”

No, no way, that’s the fun part on here! me included! :)) por cierto

  2. See we’re the disabled parking is it located we’re the old Creamery Works Building and the back of Janefield Cemetery

  3. Naaaaww, being a pri@k is what many if not most of us are good at.

In fact I feel its a prerequisite of the site 😆

Just to prove it, I’m gong to mention that cycle lanes are discriminatory against the elderly and infirm..

I totally get mobility cars, but mobility bikes. ??????

    Cheers and HH.

Watched various highlights showing the play from different angles – that third goal was pretty phenomenal whichever way you look at it.

  5. Corkcelt – “while CCV got pelters here for 2nd goal conceded he did extremely well to snuff out a late late Dundee chance”

CCV was culpable in creating that late Dundee chance when he tried a risky forward pass with 92 minutes on the clock, instead of continuing to pass among the defensive 4. Fair play when a player creates a risk and they also bust a gut to snuff it out, but I’d much rather they didn’t create it in the first place.

  6. The form of young players will tend to fluctuate, especially given the constant demands of playing for Celtic. We have seen it with Abada, off to a flying start and then a dip around October time. Now back to something like his flying start.

O’Riley will experience much the same. The demands at Celtic don’t allow for a few wee quiet one’s ,five out of tens. Hatate, being a bit older and experienced, will bring a more consistent level of performance. But he has a new continent, climate, language, and entirely different culture to cope with. As do all the Japanese guys. Can’t be easy.

GG stepped up to the plate and will be feeling pretty good this morning. Looks like a guy who thrives confidence.

Agree comments about the deteriorating pitch. Need to get those big portable light thingys on at full whack to get that grass growing. Our football requires a good surface.

The decision to include Kyogo , rather than Guchi in the European squad is looking like a very strange one , as we could have done with him on Thursday .

    —-

I think we could only make three changes and opted for O’Riley, Maeda and Hatate.

“Kyogo is a helluva loss. We’re still winning but his absence is telling at times.”

Very similar to when Henrik was missing, though we didn’t win as often! por cierto

My in match angst and immediate post match angst from yesterday has abated.

All that remains (as it eventually should be) are the results.

Which are etched in history never to be altered.

    Terrific turnaround.

    3 points clear.

  11. LET’S ALL DO THE HUDDLE

After today’s winner and during the celebrations, Jota blootered the ball into the upper stand. It didn’t come back. Very funny

i thought it waa CCV that kicked it, but might be wrong

    landed up around section 443

You’re right. Having seen the goals from geound level camera it was indeed CCV who blootered the ball into the upper JS.

I don’t know if you have the same system in Scotland as here in Ireland, but having a vehicle or ability to drive isn’t an issue as here we have a Disabled Passenger permit. This allows the person with the disability to travel in any car and also park in restricted zones/disabled spaces etc. Do you have the same, I’m sure others will know?

  13. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Today is 21 February.

Between now and end March we actually only have 4 league games to negotiate.

    Hurdles all.

    But

Successful outcomes in each plus a six week period to get the last 2-3 key players reintegrated into the squad …

…. would set us up brilliantly for the last 7 games of the run in.

Yes , same here in Scotland . The blue badge allows the badge holder to travel in any car . The badge allows you to park on single yellow lines and even some double yellows which don’t have the kerbside markings .

  15. The subject of supporters leaving the stadium early comes up every now and then and has done since CQN started.

There are myriad reasons why some supporters leave before the final whistle and I for one don’t care. Every supporter is entitled to leave when they see fit.

I rarely leave before the last blast but have done so on the odd occasion and only when the game is won.

Why should it trouble anyone that other individuals leave early?

On a lighter note, a number of years ago at Firhill Celtic were drawing 1-1 with Thistle when, with 10 minutes to go, my 14 year-old (then) son said – I’m going for a pee and vacated his seat. Immediately the guy behind him said to his mate – I can’t understand theze supporters leaving at 1-1.

A couple of minutes later my son duly returned to his seat. I turned and pointed at the man behind him and said – Kevin, the next time you want to go for a pee you must remember to ask this guy’s permission.
