We’re reportedly paying 50% of Schlupp’s wage – roughly 30K.
I won’t and can’t speak for Taylor. But if I see my back up getting 30K off Celtic a week and I’m the main man asking for 25K and not getting it, it makes me more likely to leave.
In the meantime I’ve no doubt Taylor will give his all and if he does leave, hopefully he’ll have another two winners medals.

Khun did not look happy after he scored last night.

That’s because he a Professional.
You rarely see pros jumping for joy when they bang in a sixth.

ORDINARY JOE @ 9:23 AM,
Adam Idah did very well in his loan spell, yet just as Paulo Bernardo is finding out, what’s expected of you as a loan player, whose normally in there to booster the squad, and what is expected of a first choice Celtic player, in an important role, is very different.
It’s a step up, both lhads are more than capable of doing that, and they will.
The obvious application you can see in their determination to do well, is there for all to see.
Celtic players have always had a $al€$ price, this era is no different, except this manager is utilising player development and extended contracts, to maximise the time quality players stay at Celtic and perform at the highest level and getting a maximum return when the player moves on.
Of course Celtic fans have changed over the years, the supporters from the era you reminisce about is as far a way from the present as the jungle bhoys were from between the wars.
So some perspective is needed – the well heeled prawn sandwich brigade are a blight on all the top Clubs, not just ours.
Hail Hail

You are correct that Taylor won’t be happy .
But we are signing a player who has played hundreds of matches in the EPL.
Schlupp has consistently performed at a much higher level than Taylor .His pedigree is much higher than Taylor’s.
The big gamble for Celtic with Schlupp is can he maintain those levels at 32 years of age.
