Never had any respect for Bonner when he has been commentating on the BBC.
Hope the Celtic Board DO do something about the cheating. We are always reffed differently (to the oppositions’ benefit) but it is on a whole new level now.
Ref was a cheat, plain and simple. Most obvious was hurrying the Celtic players along at 2-1 while turning a blind eye to Dundee doing same at 1-0.

I think we’ll need more than Oxlade to make our midfield an effective unit . The number of times we lost the ball in midfield and Dundee quickly broke on our backline with Scales in particular put under unneccessary pressure. Bernardo , Callum and Reo all failed to take control from the Dundee midfield and McCowan ,although he did well going forward is a bit too lightweight to be a commanding presence .

Made a similar point the other day when we turned down the offer for Engels, namely that we could probably find a midfielder in the SPL that could do what Engels ‘actually’ does for Celtic. Hamilton is one, but not the only one, who could fit that bill. Like that he has always wanted to play football, wherever it took him. Got the physique that our midfield lacks too. Of course playing for Celtic is not the same as playing against Celtic. Could he replace Arnie, I do believe he could.

sorry, i was being more sarccy than i should have been, because you were right in a way.
and not just because we eventually won.
it was actually loud inside the stadium tonight even though it was less than half full.
unlike recent games when it has been quiet as hell, as has been mentioned on here plenty of times.
though tonights loudness was due a lot to not winning for most of the game, as happens a lot when we arent winning at home.
so anything that keeps us winning is good for me!
but obviously MON has to take the credit for our recent results.
but i wish he hadnt left it as late tonight 🙄

It is a bit of a paradox that while we have a half decent midfield we get out played by Falkirk, Motherwell and Dundee in that part of the park, and out fought by Hearts. Think part of the problem is that we still have a Brendan style midfield, when we need to have a better balance, and a better mix in there. Had we a wee bit more time to think about the Engels offer we could well have found a decent replacement in the SPL. That said, Arnie had a great season last time out, and has been effective in Euro games. And funnily enough think the interest from Forest will have given him a boost.

Bada, not heard what MO’N may have said after game but tonight, with a victory, is the right time to call it out. He was very animated at the match.

To my uninitiated eye we try to play down one quarter of the left hand side and down one quarter of the right hand side……..which leaves half the pitch uncovered.
