I didn’t dare say it during the match but is Sinisalo improving? He was a bit shaky when he filled in for Schmeichel last year. Getting games appears to be good for him.

A win is a win. We will have forgotten this dire performance in a few weeks, but this team is nowhere good enough for Europe.
M O’N is a saint but like all managers he has blind spots. Hatate is one. Our most creative player has been blacked for far too long. McCowan is nowhere near Reo’s standard. In my opinion he offers very little.
Duran is played out of position but rather than give him the last 15 min in the centre, he is hooked. Not good.
Fair play to Nygren, he has the knack of being in right place.. etc

In terms of tactics- the inability to fashion any possession when we are pressed following a few passes around the back seems to have remained from last season.
No return yet from set pieces following set piece coach hiring. One creative corner saw Calmac with an effort.
All in all, it seems we are well set up for the CL qualifier……

Thought defensively we were good. Bar a long throw in the first half, Dundee didn’t create much.
Nygren still looks like the only good finisher at the club – Hogh needs time and should be given it.
We can’t sign players a few days before a play off and expect miracles.

First game in defence of the title and a victory is recorded.A few chances went a begging and Dundee had a couple of efforts,Sinasalo making a good save.Three points tonight I’m happy with that.

Still like a wee moan here and there though.
Kaspar a bit unlucky tonight , on another night he gets a hat trick . Once he beds in he’ll score plenty , but Nygren will run him close . Duran will score plenty too once we get a good right winger to let him move into the middle . Hopefully nervy 1-0’s against the Dundees will become a rarity .
