sacroilliac …also in the greatest rap song of all time (and one of the greatest songs of all time) …. The Message by Grandmaster Flash.
“Former Chelsea and West Ham striker Carlton Cole will train with Celtic this week with a view to signing.
The 31-year-old free agent, who left the Upton Park club during the summer, was at Celtic Park on Sunday to watch the champions’ 6-0 win over Dundee.
“We will have talks with him and see him in training as well, this week, I think,” said Celtic manager Ronny Deila of Cole, capped seven times by England.
“We will see if it is something that will happen or not.”
Deila added: “It is not [a trial]. He has been in London his whole life, so he has to see what he is coming to and then we will see if it is something that he likes and we like as well.
“I think he is a very good football player and he shown in the Premier League and also the Championship that he can score goals and he is different to what we have.
“He is a target man, very good in the air and strong and that is something that, if everything fits, could be good for us.”
Celtic made a late bid to sign Scotland and Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher in the closing hours of the transfer window, but his club would not allow him to make the move.”

best gigs. Rod Stewart in madison Sq gardens, twice, Dave Mathews band same venue, as was U2, they were as tight as a drum, perfect in every sense, but my favourite has to be the Stones;- Giants stadium New jersey, astonishing performance by Mr Jagger, blown away with the live version of Brown Sugar . The movement of the stage over 100 yards, clever, powerful, show stopping stuff, and nothing to do with the fact the bar was opened all day and I had my first four hour “tail-gate” party!

Van Djik has to pay to get back in after being turned inside out by Martial. Albeit goal should have been disallowed for offside.

Thought the midfield was very fluid today. Constant movement and linking up with front men was very good. Just thought who was missing that very often slows up forward movement by poor passing?

Fav local band was the Concordes, managed by Fr Tom in St Brides??? Testing the auld grey matter now! Also was impressed with Sheena Easton’s husband, Sandy? another tight band, no sign of the drink problem which took him away, good performer. Such is the music industry. I sometimes think it is second only to boxing as a savage industry.

Had a blether ( Meet an Greet is too posh for me!) With Rod Stewart in Jack Dempsey’s. What a charming guy. No entourage, with one guy and one car outside. After the game, to which he was glued, and kicked every ball, he spent ages signing autographs and lottsa photos, then he went downstairs with his “minder” for a pub lunch. Got the impression he was desperate to be ordinary
