Careful. Some of the blunders of history have been made this way.
Great win for the Hoops yesterday I’m looking forward to seeing the highlights. Looking at the Europa league squads in comparison to Ajax for example we are woefully short on strikers (with more midfielders).
For that reason alone Carlton Cole would be a good addition. Injury and/or suspension for Leigh or Nadir would be a disaster.
I remember Dion Dublin, who I think was older than Cole, arriving and doing a decent job for the Celtic.

Dion scared the hell out of defenders. He threatened to knock them out with his appendage!
Was off it, went to the game yesterday, enjoyed it that much, I went back on it, big mistake, my heed is like a tor biler this morning, but it was worth it, had a great night, and got home very quietly and hit the hay, I must say its been a long long time since I have said every player was great yesterday, to a man, a joy to watch.
Lurking Huns ( although they be back under the rock they crawled out of today) but anways.
Glad you had a guid time yesterday, mate. As did everyone there, near enough. It’s joooost magic when it all clicks, innit? No matter which era,we can all have a-it just clicked that day-memory.
Like 6-2,or beating Hibs 5-0 in the early 70s when Turnbull was trying to prove he was better than Jock. 5-1,Lubo’s debut. Sporting Lisbon, etc, etc, etc.
It’s what makes us want to go back even when we’re poor. Just in case…

Good morning CQN
Something worth noting from yesterday’s game, and I hope someone from Celtic also officially noted this
We were given a free kick around 25 yards out about the 40th minute
Referee McLean ( yes that one) proceeded to march out 9 steps to position the Dundee wall
Dundee get a free kick about 22 yards out a minute or so later
He then takes 12 steps to position our wall – yes 12 full steps for our defensive wall
Sleekit underhand cheating from our impartial referee :-)
I did notice the twelve steps, we where all shouting at him it was right where my seat is, cheating b……
And I did notice somethings on my Facebook about Cameron and pigs, what was that all about?

I too spotted the steps by the ref but he was just walking to a step beyond the penalty spot. That was an easy one for him as the free kick was being taken from a step inside the D so the wall should have been 11 yards from goal.
He`s still a hopeless ref!

On the day of the 5-1 game I was roped into going to a show at the Kelvin Hall with the wife n daughter(aged 3) . It was ‘Barney the dinosaur and friends.’
!!!
Place was full of screaming weans and bored parents!
Had no idea of the score.
After the show we went to the ‘Ariosto’ Italian restaurant in Mitchell Street for dinner, where I asked one of the waiters the score. He looked at me, smiled broadly and told me.
I let out a loud “yesss” and was promptly told by she who must be obeyed to behave!
Dinner was most enjoyable that night!

I know it was only Dundee and it’s of very limited relevance but it was just a cracking day at the football. Entertaining, pressing, intricate, athletic. I started taking a my daughter last year and it’s days like yesterday that keep kids hooked.
I think Ronny also had to respect the performance. Armstrong, Johansen, Allan, GMS, Lustig must all now up their game to get a look in, no automatic returns.
