  1. Thetimreaper. @07.02hrs.

Cost to the taxpayer indeed. 119 arrests and counting.

I bet every single arrest was under the OB act.

Are we so plentiful with resources that this is a major priority. Just how violent was this pitch invasion? In the UK how many pitch invasions will we witness at the end of season 16/17.

I am very mindful that there will be consequences for our younger supporters. After all they need to even up the score. Self admitted.

    HH. Prioritiescsc.

  2. Barca have more variation in their play these days, more mid to long range passing. Iniesta running the show.

  3. GFTB-it’s probably either eddlewood or woodhead, but the woodhead one is actually in meikle earnock,up behind guy Kerrs pub

I haven’t met you (yet :-) but that post to me sums Cqn up, it’s a pretty special place and some should enjoy it rather than decry it, again even with all my prompting still no friends or family are on the site but that’s their loss………

Hope your enjoying having your Bhoy home through your posts to Melbourne Mick it was very enjoyable reading

I had the pleasure of Almore’s company throughout yesterdays game. Pretty sure I benefited from that arrangement than he did. Although I did help out by translating a couple of our chants into English!

Meikle Earnock might be the one, a cracking grass park behind the hedges on a road away from the main drag…..am rubbish with places I only know the fitba parks :-) although before the Jock Stein astro I do remember the old red ash next to them

Joe,I’m so sorry to read that pal, so sorry.

As DENA said – be strong in front of yer wife that’s good mind games fella.

Joe, this blog, full of Celtic-ness can be a truly magical source of strength at times.

Thoughts and Prayers to all who are close.

Hope all is good my disgruntled Celtic (cliquey) mucker :-)

    Jobo

Am sure Almore would have enjoyed the weather report from the safe standing section, not register yet for goals for Shay, still trying to explain it to the good lady and friends, but by hook or by crook (that means understanding the rules) we will be partaking

  9. AngelGabriel: I always enjoy the company of CQNers when I visit. Like the ones I mentioned earlier, so many posters here do tremendous work that epitomises the spirit of Br. Walfrid and the great community spirit surrounding Celtic. From meeting the Blane Valley casuals prematch and the West five-a-siders post match being amongst the other enjoyable things I did yesterday.

And you are right about Jobo. A true gent. It was great to spend the ninety minutes watching the match with a like-minded fifty year old (plus) all-singing & dancing teenager:-)

Was there no a park in Eddlewood next to trees ?

  11. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Paul Lennon, the man behind the Good Child foundation (the Thai Tims) has tweeted he is in Glasgow soon and was hoping to get a ticket for our game on hogmanay.

I hope he can get one from another supporter or the club can help him.

His tweet is on celtic underground and etims twitter feeds

  12. GFTB: Thanks for your kind words. Marc is delighted to be home but will probably head off again to find work- just not as far away as before. Needless to say, I hope he lands a job in Glasgow:-)

The youngest is leaving us at the end of January, he’ll be heading across the Atlantic to try his luck in Toronto.

Fairhill Bhoy: it is not always easy to appreciate from the TV or other parts of the stadium what the Green Brigade bring to each game but I love them and was really impressed with them. That atmosphere in the standing section is equally positive and devoid of moaners and people who spend more time on their mobiles than watching the game.

Having said all that, I was knackered after the match thanks to an early start, and a dodgy breakfast so I probably wasn’t the best of company last night.

Hill house was the Jock Stein parks…….this was 20yrs ago so turning up on a Saturday morning was a success, meikle earnock rings a bell…….by the way there wasn’t that many grass parks in Hamilton (or Blantir) so it should be easier for the locals :-)

  14. BT-there’s a few parks in eddlewood, though you might be thinking of the bush park which was low waters

I was bored so had a look through SMSM, it’s like entering a different world, no wonder no one buys their papers.!

And what about this project brave pish, good grief the Hun’s can’t afford to run the full team but also a Colt in the lower leagues, you have to laugh……

  16. I have a friend who wants to buy some Celtic Shares for her Husband, can anyone give me details on how she will go about it?

    Keep the Faith!

    Hail Hail!

  17. ALMORE-I sit up in 416 so I see the GB,the wee bhoy who was about 4 was copying everything they where doing yesterday, his gran was kidding on she was mortified, she was really flipping proud as:-)))))

  18. Gerryfaethebrig (and others) – the latest competition, Goals For Shay is pretty simple. Like Last Man Standing you pick a different team each week and you cant pick a team more than once. This time though nobody falls out. Goals mean points to, for example if you had picked The Bhoys yesterday you would have scored 2 points. 10 sounds of fixtures and the highest total points wins. Provided you say your entry fee in time you get l joker to play in a week of your choosing which gets you double points that week. So not really complicated at all.

Over the last two decades drinking in the “tyre” I regularly get slagged from coming from Coatbridge where seemingly we put the “bread in the breed bin” and I can assure every accusation was correct I do put the breed in the bread bin
