If it is commercially expedient to accept that it is the same snowman then, whether or not it actually IS the same snowman is irrelevant. The belief that it is the same snowman will become generally accepted.
So, for instance, if the melted snowman had won prizes for being the best snowman in the country, the new snowman will be allowed to claim those prizes as its own.
And none of the other snowman will challenge that claim.
That’s the reason I never put it on, they would have been all over me, the brown shirts would be at my door to take me away to the C T dungeons, to get water board treatment from the leaders of the G B, help ma bob.
Pity you couldent respect R D decision to substitute you in a game when you had your petulant rant, or did you have one with R D and you’ve been put in your place sounds more like it to me.
Kris Commons has revealed that Brendan Rodgers NEVER told him that he was finished at Celtic.
On Saturday the 33-year-old made his debut for Hibs at Morton after signing a 28 day loan for the Edinburgh side.
Commons hasn’t even made the substitute bench since Rodgers took over fuelling speculation that his Celtic days were over.
AdTech Ad
Rodgers has confirmed the obvious fact that there won’t be a new contract at the end of this season but according to the player that’s as far as the conversation went.
“I was injured when he came in and he knew I was going to be out for another couple of weeks,” the Daily Record reports Commons saying.
“He knew he needed to know his squad for some important Champions League qualifiers and he said to me: “Listen, you’re injured, and I know you will work hard and train hard, the door is never shut at Celtic.
“He said: ‘If you are looking for regular first-team football, then I might struggle to give you that at Celtic.’
“He never said I was finished at the club. I just knew I couldn’t play week in, week out. I had to have respect for that.
“It was no longer a given that I would be playing week in, week out. I do believe that Brendan had that conversation with a few Celtic players.”
With his emergency loan due up in mid January Commons will be in action while the Celtic first team squad enjoy a winter break.
The deal with Hibs could be converted through until the end of the season but that now seems less than 100% certain.
With Gary Mackay-Steven making a couple of appearances it looks like the former Dundee United man is ahead of Commons for a game alongside Scott Sinclair, James Forrest and Patrick Roberts.
After his debut against Morton on Saturday Commons will make his home debut on Saturday when Falkirk visit Easter Road.

I’m good Kev; I trust you are too.
So in response to your post: we are the club!
The board are temporary custodians.
The players come and go; some get it and remain Celts for life and some don’t.
Managers come and go; some get it and remain Celts for life and some don’t.
The fans are a constant and we are the club; our children and grandchildren will continue the legacy!

That’ll put an end to the ‘same club’ argument then! Exactly the argument all sevconians will make.
John James article today is certainly a tough read, but I’m grateful for him bringing it to my attention.
A truly awful story,and a horrific death.
There are various articles on it,I recommend the one in The Independent from two days ago.
Google Lynette Daley to find it.
R I P
Uxbridge words of the day
Juniper: Did you bite that woman?
Kindred: Fear of one’s own family.
Lactose Intolerant: A person who becomes very angry when missing two or more of the five foot digits.
TD67, you are correct about the JJ article today; non-football related but a very sad tale. Not easy reading! For more information on the case, this article in the Independent is very good: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/australasia/aboriginal-woman-raped-to-death-lynette-daley-justice-for-norma-ten-mile-beach-yamba-australia-a7478811.html

Kev Jungle,
Best of luck with the hip.
MRI scans can be very claustrophobic, my eyelids feel like they are touching the top of the scanner so I keep my eyes closed, best way.
Hip replacement is a “relatively” straightforward recovery, a good surgeon and some effort from your good self and you’ll be fine in jig time.
All the best!
