Time for our coach to realize something is not working and adjust.
Every team we play at Celtic park has same and often effective game plan.
There will be those that say it’s hard against a packed defense.
It’s a packed defense because our slow ponderous approach allows it.
There seems to be only one thought in our players head and that is to retain possession so we rarely play a positive pass.
JF had the beating of his guy all night yet was static most time receiving and often played it back to Lustig who usually switched it sideways or backwards.
There is nothing incisive of our play.
This was not an off night but a performance consistent with many at Celtic park this season.
i think brendan is trying to get us used to no paddy or musonda as they wont be back
Champions League was quite entertaining and less stressful tonight dear chaps
Well that was dire, nearly as bad as the standard of refereeing, not quite, but not good fare.
They will be sorely missed if that is the case.
if we are trying to convince paddy to stay next season, not sure this approach is working. Best player we have and we don’t use the little magician.
For me yet another poor performance from the hoops when we play against a packed defence we constantly play in front of them we must use the wings and get to the bye line and play the ball in behind them and in to many games including tonights it just doesnt happen. Football is an entertainment but this season in my opinion we have entertained to little. H.H.

Mousanda is here for next season an 18 month deal..no idea why he obviously doent rate him enough to playa against Dundee etc

I find it strange that someone who pays for a season ticket, and is able to go to the game, would rather sit at home or go to the pub to watch Italian fitba’ or Two english teams.
Musonda and Paddy should have played. JF was vy poor tonight.

What are you saying, exactly? We were extremely poor tonight. End of.
That was dire and it wasn’t a one-off. No risk, no imagination in the final third. We’re miles ahead man-by-man but can’t break down packed defences. Are we too obsessed by possession at all costs?
Whatever the French for Deja Vu is…………….that was it.

Merchants of doom and gloom??? Should we just pretend tonight’s performance was acceptable? From what I’ve seen of this season, the general level of performance has been on a par with Ronny Delia’s last.

Another abject performance in what has been in all honesty an awful season in terms of the performances. An uninspiring team, hopeless playing style and clueless substitutions mean yet again we fail to score against spfl cannon fodder.
Thankfully both of the teams closest to us in the League bottled it against us with 10 men.
Garbage.
When I saw the team I thought it was going to be another one if those games we struggle in.
We just lack fluidity. Not terrible just not at the top of our game.
Shooting was abysmal and one goal early doors would have made all the difference.
Onwards and upwards.

Complete and utter krap! We were not able to penetrate a useless team at all. That is not a style of play that will keep bums on seats. I live abroad and pay for Celtic TV but if this keeps up, I will quit next season.

This frustrating side to side obsessive retention game we play is what BR wants us to get better at for CL.
He’s using domestic games to hone it.
Why he doesn’t instruct the team to do it AFTER we have secured a lead I don’t know?
I blame this for a very lacklustre run of games.
That was a very hard shift from a supporters perspective. Baltic and poor show on the park.

Mate, we stole a win in Anderlecht when they had pulled a guy off the street to manage them. We got outclassed in every other game and against Zenit. Any decent team will cuff us. .
OK…have fun doin’ it.

doens’t sound like we played too well … but the game in scotland is a bogey anyways … and I’m not paying to watch that …. so, for the most part, I dont lose much sleep over it ….
however, I do object to giviing that scrot McCann a point … that really upsets me.
