Hertz go 1-0 up at Dens. Scored by Braga, who I suggested we should sign to improve our own CF threat whilst also reducing that of Hertz. If we have to pay £6M each for Bowie and Braga, giving ourselves a real goalscoring threat and weakening our main challengers at the same time. At least with Bowie and Braga we know what we’re getting.
*there is more chance of a deal with hearts than hibs even though the latter are allegedly our “freens”, not so as thy still blame us for “stealing James Kelly, who I can assure you was NEVER going to sign for them, in fact he was reluctant to join us as he was happy playing with his home village World Champion side and working as a joiner at the time, it was only the relentless endeavour of Brother Walfrid when telling John Glass to camp out on his Burn Street doorstep until he signs as in his words “nae kelly nae keltic” as he called us until his dying day.
Then there’s the accusation that we stole players from them including future board member Michael Dunbar, if the truth be told we only acquired their players after according to historical accounts, the original Hibernian Football Club faced bankruptcy in the 1890s, and a key reason was that the club secretary, John McFadden, absconded to Canada with the club’s funds thereby leaving their players free agents.
It could be argued that we have signed players from them in the past such as the marvellous Pat Satnton but only because it suited them especially manager Eddie Turnbull who contacted the big mhan for a swap deal.
Oh and before John McGinn is brought up, putrid kept raising the goal posts but eventually sold him to Villa for allegedly less money than we offered, and lets NOT forget it was their chairman who had the brick built harp removed from the exterior wall as well as being complicit with rapid Celtic hater sir george graham in trying to have the tricolour removed from atop the jungle and it was our deadliest rivals that actually backed us on keeping it up.
As for their edinburgh rivals we have done business with them over the years including Wispy, Andy Lynch and most recently Craig Gordon, Paul Hartley, Steven Pressley.

Murray gave them 2 and pulled his leg out of the way for their third at Tynecastle, at CP we had a headed chance late in the game to draw and hit the keeper from 5 yards, in both games we were not good, they are physical though like the Huns nick goals and defend their box.

What a save Craig Gordon.
I still appreciate what big Fraser Forster did for us but I really hate what he did at Covid time.
Committing to staying which meant Craig G wanted to go to get football and then changing his mind a week later and pissing off down south by which time we had let Craig G go.
Craig could still have been our keeper.

Never heard Gordon speak with any warmth for his time at CP despite a handful of medals he won and his disaster against Inter Milan when he was playing badly the support sung his name.

For all their posession , Dundee were clueless about opening up Hearts defence . Lots of crosses from deep positions , easily mopped up by Hearts big CB’s . One good Dee header at the death and Gordon pulls off wonder save . Hearts definitely looking beatable though against teams with a bit more invention .
Hearts or Hibs will not sell to us when they are in with a chance of the league or Euro spot.

A £6M sale would earn hearts almost double what they made from their participation in the 24-25 conference league. With a business head on, that would make more sense financially. 🤔

Can’t see Hearts selling Braga in January, they would be slaughtered by their support when they have a real chance of winning league. Hibs less likely to turn down a good offer. Not likely to finish in top 3 whether they sell players or not.

He told the Celtic View: “You get that sense of relief, a sense of emotion that just overcomes you. At that point, it maybe hadn’t set in, not immediately, not properly, but we still realised we’d done it, we’d achieved something that would stand the test of time.
“You can go through your career and have highs and win trophies, but to be an Invincible, to be part of history and to be part of something that will be remembered at this club forever – that’s incredible.”
“For me, emotion just took over. I didn’t actually have a clear view of Tom’s goal. There were some bodies in the way, but I just saw it hit the net. There was thunder and lightning in the sky, it was all lit up, it was just… yeah, it was just an incredible moment. Nobody that was there will ever forget it.”
