Replace a mismanager with a manager and look what happens . the players look they were mass hypnotised into playing like fannies until Martin ,Shaun and co snap their fingers and wake them up !
Passing , movement ,attacking agression and total control over the same team we dropped 3 points to just a few weeks ago . Proof that the league is still within our grasp . Hopefully Nicholson leaves us a parting gift of at least one good striker before he effs off out of the club . Even better if he can keep Maeda and Yang . Maybe offer Yang an improved contract.

From the top of my head, two fouls were given when their CF merely collapsed to the ground when a Celtic player breathed on his shoulder!
The foul Walsh gave against Maeda when their keeper was holding on to the ball was remarkable.

Just watched Martin’s post match interview there and the difference in interview performance from last few weeks is as marked as the difference in team performance

Araujo made a big difference in the right back position, quick ,tackles, comfy on the ball, Trusty tried to nick the ball when 1 on 1 terrible defending Scales covered him, better teams we concede there, Engels was good playing between the press of their midfield and defence, Hatate drops out of the midfield if we get a player for in there, he is still too careless and should have scored, wingers were great stretched DU, Forrest ok when he came on so Daizen drops to the bench as a CF must be signed, Kenny made good runs again but can’t hit the net, hopefully some quality additions on Monday, we don’t need a winger though unless some are being sold.

The way I see it is that we have a decent squad of players, with Julianne coming in, and if we can improve it through supplementing it we can have a good second half to the season. One game at a time bien entendu…

had maeda been inside the box, or even on the line then fair enough.
but he was so clearly a good yard or 2 outside the box, so if the keeper doesnt like it, then he can take step back to give himself more room to punt it.
refs making rules up as they go along.
