  1. without kyogo, good play ends up in crosses to no one

we can’t cope missing broonie and calmac

could we not at least try new defensive coaches

  2. The referee did Celtic a massive favour by waving away a Dundee United penalty claim. Looked a stonewaller.

Our formation looks like a 4-3-3. When I talk about our midfield, I’m referring mainly to the three in the middle.

CalMac is decent but he’s not here.

  4. Prancing pony Turnbull hits underside of cross bar ! 1-1 we really need to step this up. Dropping points today would be a disaster.

  5. Very dissappointing first half, not surprised as warning signs were there last weekend

No spearhead striker has been harming us since Moussa Dembele’s days, but Abada Jota and Ajeti should be knocking Utd out of the park.

Attack blah blah attack blah blah win at home mibbees.

  6. Ange chucked it after Dom left the building?

very big coincidence or cruel injuries ?

Indeed. Was just saying saying we are a one man team isn’t too fair on others. Agree, Kyogo joins many of the dots though.

  8. Jota the only threat.

Midfield constantly running into dead ends,

Balls flying into the box to a striker who looks like we are bothering him.

Got to that the standard of Celtic’s play at times has been really, really poor.

  10. Ralston at fault for the goal. After that the confidence drained out of the team. Terrible mistake by Starfelt should have resulted in a pen for Dundee Utd. Ajeti guilt of the miss of the season. Rogic awful. Jota our best player by a mile.

Another important player injured. CalMac is badly missed. Can’t feel confident about facing Leverkusen or even winning today.

  11. Not sure how we can change this….we’ve went from……kyogo Eddie christie and calmac…..to drivel…Ajeti…really is pish……turnbull and rogic murder without the ball !!

  12. Why bring back Boli for a game and then have him out of the team? Montgomery has had 3 misplaced passes. I’d prefer him up the field.

We are in real trouble given that we are only in September and our squad is decimated

  13. Yes, Clancy is giving Pawlett a free kick every time he falls down. But he didn’t give Utd a penalty so we can’t complain too much.

  14. Agree that Vickers nearly sold the knickers; was a penalty.

Not sure what we’re playing but – again – it’s not Angeball.

Seems to be reliant on feeding two wingers to float crosses in to a CF for whom heading isnt his main goal threat.

    Still win it 4-1 !

Ah, sorry I thought you were responding to a different comment.

Yes, I was careful to say that I don’t believe in a one-man team but I can’t think of any good performances without Kyogo – and unfortunately, that does include performances with Jota and Abada too…despite the fact they look decent players.

  16. Notebook the one exception of looking handy, wingers as others have said are handy but the middle of the park is missing same as last season, up top we are blunt and soft at the back, I had to look there to see if Neil was back.

zero improvement with an entire different team.

  17. He could easily have allowed Ajetis goal on 45mins, there was no push hmmm….

The white hankie brigade on here gie me the boak.

    Very poor fare from celtic.

Ajeti would struggle to get a game for the Forres Mechanics (do they still exist?)

Angeball? Looks just the same as Lennyball to me unfortunately.

    This could get messy…..

  19. the long wait is over on

We’ve got no one up front who can hold the ball up with their back to goal and play someone from midfield in.

Getting the ball wide and crossing it in works okay if we’ve a decent striker who can instinctively get themselves in the right place between the posts. Ajeti doesn’t do that regularly enough and missies too many chance when he does.

    Frustrating day so far.
