Uncomfortable after they scored. We were sluggish and disjointed and couldn’t keep the ball. Bringing Ki on did nothing to prevent them pushing us back or help us create more chances.
Aye, goals change games, but a well deserved 3 points, thought we defended very well.
Good run out for Izzy, and great to see Kris back.
Well done Lenny.

St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas has launched a scathing attack over Rangers’ pursuit of striker Francisco Sandaza after the player rejected a pre-contract offer from the Ibrox side.
The Spaniard turned the offer down before the teams met at McDiarmid Park.
And the Northern Irishman says he is unhappy at the way Ally McCoist’s men have conducted their interest in the 27-year-old.
He said: “I do believe there should be a bit more leadership from the top at Rangers.
“Ally McCoist has got a difficult job because of the finances and he has had to follow Walter Smith, who is a legend, so he has a tough job.
“But this wouldn’t happen if David Murray was at the club, he wouldn’t let it. Rangers are a big club but unfortunately they are behaving like a little one.”
He added: “We haven’t even had an offer.
“As a boy, I was a Rangers fan. They are great fans, the Rangers fans, and I’m sure they must be feeling slightly miffed that they can’t go out and pay for Fran Sandaza.
“I would be worried, especially a guy who is in the last months of his contract. I would be extremely worried if I was a Rangers fan.”
Lomas is also unhappy with the player’s agent, Clive Jagger.
He said: “As for his agent, we still haven’t heard if he’s turned our offer down – probably as big an offer as St Johnstone have ever made in their history, which I think is slightly disrespectful to us.
“He’s on the TV saying this and that. No doubt he wants him to go to Rangers because he will be getting something.”
Sandaza had his say on the transfer saga.
He added: “Everybody is in the papers talking about a deal or a pre-contract but I don’t know anything.
“My team is St Johnstone and I’m focused on this club. The club hasn’t received any bid for me.
“I don’t think I will sign any pre-contract because I trust my possibilities and I think I can score more than 20 goals in this league.
“If somebody wants me, they have to want me good enough. I think I’m a good player and I’ve worked hard enough to get to this level and I don’t want to go to any club cheaply.”
Obviously 3 points is the be all and end all,and im glad to have won the game,,,but have to say im sick fed up of battering teams 2-1 and 1-0,,,we must finish teams off with a killer goal and stop giving teams who should be dead and buried chances!!
That will do for me “We are gonna win the league” Welcome back Kris Bhoyo

3 points is always welcome. Great first half but we went off the boil second. Strange substitution with Stokes being withdrawn and Sammi who is not a goalscorer pushed up front. Ki struggled to get into the game but by that stage DU were on top and no-one was playing well. Good to see Commons getting a run out. Will no doubt get pelters for saying this but Sammi has had his run of good games and is now ready to resume bench warming. We do not need his mazy runs into no mans land. Get Commons fit and keep the ball moving.
Never a contest until they got a 25 yard screamer. Same as the game against St Johnstone. And one or two others.
We need to look at that.
BUT – it is good to know that we can win in the closer contests. It takes a certain strength of mentality and that will be crucial in getting us over the finishing line.
Our players looked pretty confident in possession. I saw the second half and despite a hairy moment or two I was never in any fear that we would drop points.
Had we got the elusive third before they scored we would have run up a cricket score, which is good and it will happen from time to time. But sometimes it is good to see what your team is made of when things get tight.
Job done. Paisley next saturday is all that matters now.
Hail Hail.

Brown did a lot of closing down and running when game got tight.
The balance is good but we need more creativity from central area.
When Ki came on we handed them momentum.
We are still a little reactive in our play and when we learn to be proactive this team will shine

Kojo – Brown has done well since he came back. Another decent shift today. I’m not his biggest fan but if he continues this form he is worth his place in the side
Now that that’s over, what was the tweet from the Herald journalist in aid of? More followers? A joke? Or is he so behind the curve he’s only just logged onto Rangerstaxcase?

That should show all the people who believe we need a centre-half before a centre-forward to think again.
With the dominance we had in the first half a top centre-forward would have had us 4 up at half-time.

fholks another 3 points ..so job done
and i dont’ wan to come across as being on a downer after another win on the bounce
but….
we must stop giving space to players to make long range shots/goals at home when we are 2 up
or
we need to convert more chances
making it far too easy for mibs to stitch us up late in the game

Happy with the three points, after a nervous second half.
We are not putting teams away comfortably.
This allows teams to have a chance.
Victor is a great player, but at this stage of his development, he tires after about seventy minutes.
We really have to bolster the midfield with strong players.
Perhaps, when Izzi gets up to speed, we can keep Ledley in the middle for the full game and add Ki to the mix.
If I remember correctly, the last two goals we have lost have been from distance, scored by an unmarked midfielder.
Two versus four can’t compete for ninety minutes- no matter what standard they are.
Oh, and practice those twenty+ yard free kicks.
cant believe broonie getting stick – but then not at all surprised that kojo is once more puttin the boot in
there were a few players below form out there but broonie wasnt one of them
is he gettin blame for matthews patchy game today
is he gettin blame for stokes gettin in the way
is he gettin blame for the poor positional play of celtic forwards when we are crossing – all go in same direction/never enough filling the box
is he gettin blame for showing composure and keeping ball at end – when sammi couldnt
remember udinese just before half-time
kojo – you’be been sticking it to the club captain for ages now
he is neil lennons man – that means hes our man
he is one of the main men in the squad
the others will be off to england and/or europe when they are good enough
broonie wont , and neither will charlie
back the bhoys – especially when they dont deserve to be booed
Lenny on Shortbread:
Thanks Fraser for saves, refers to Sammi’s two missed chances.
Hostile to interviewer who suggests we huffed and puffed – “that’s your opinion”
11 in a row takes some doing – Hooper tremendous and namechecks Victor, Charlie and Thomas.
Says finishing should be better
Matthews had a virus hence why he struggled
Would have liked and extra goal and better finishing would have meant three or four.
Another bid from Southampton for Hooper rejected
Still working on bringing in another striker.
Hail King Lenny
