Really thought that was a good shout for a penalty from United.But who cares,we have had enough bad decisions against us in the past.As the experts say”Swings and roundabouts”

thought the follow through on Griffiths was more a penalty but it was considered a great tackle by the panel. I would have agreed with them if the Utd player had won the ball.

The guys behind me booed efe from the off .. Obviously I spent the rest of the game praising a pretty good performance . At one point I reminded them that only one player on the park played in last years World Cup and he also had an African nations winners medal
BTW meant to add that I loved the table names at CQN-11 being names after Irish counties. Our table was squeezed in between Donegal and Cavan. We were Table 19 – The Whifflet.

A notorious Hun who worried me pre-match but who managed the game very well and, I think professionally.
Jackie mac? Disappoints more by the game by his his post match comments. Almost Sutty-like; loved him as a player: after he left us says nothing that suggests he was ever really one of us.
Get us that treble, Ronny, and become a Celtic hero.

I’m obviously in a minority, didn’t think Broonie’s challenge was a penalty.
It wasn’t. He was just too strong for him. Not seen any replays but had very good view at game and never even thought it might have been a penalty.
Minx I recall posting a year or so ago after a game at Perth when I had to listen to a load of nonsense by so called Celtic supporters and HT wouldnae believe me. I don’t go to many away games now but when I do I can guarantee you I’m no far from some drunken eedjit.
WTF has happened to Kevin Gallacher’s Clydebank accent. He never spoke like that at St Columba’s.
Not blowing my own trumpet(well not this time)but I did say beforethe game that Bobby Madden was a good shout for this game.I really do like him.He has an easy going nature with the players,speaks to them like a mate,but I have to say,is always fair.I know some will disagree,but,believe me,in 50 years watching Celtic,I wish they had all been like him.

Lennybhoy will sort you out, he is a Whifflet (Big Tree) / Main Street (Columba Club) Bhoy, am off the beaten track the Bammy (La Ronde) or the Georgian Hotel, wherever you decide I will be delighted to meet up and have an aperitif or two, no way I am organising anything as I mentioned Lennybhoy sorted my stag doo so he is the Bhoy for that job !
TBJ – HT handled it much better than I he was vociferous in his praise for both Stokes and Forrest gaining agreement from everyone else around us typical HT backing the team 100%

Not a stonewaller,but in other games,different refs,easily given.I thought at first it was shoulder to shoulder,but on seeing it again,Broony gave him a wee elbow in the back.Wont tell lies,some other games,given.
Mrs BT has had Mother’s Day delayed until tomorrow so as mini departs to London for a 3 day school trip I will make it up to the good lady by taking her to la lanterna for dinner tomorrow, I may even allow her to drive 8))

We beat them aboot 4 or 5 tae 2.
Guy ah went tae the Ants wi-Jim Douglas fae Golspie St.was the captain.

Remember the Govan Fair well.
Remember Dad taking me to watch St.Ants team on a Saturday morning often.
They played in the Hoops right tae the side of Ibrox Park.

Haven’t seen any replays but at game didn’t even think it might have been a penalty. Just looked like he was too strong for him. After last week’s joke penalty, even if it was 50/50, what goes round……

I was in the north stand so not the best vantage point but I didn’t think Broonie’s challenge was a penalty. I did think that Madden looked desperate to give it as he made his way into the box but I assume his linesman intervened.
