    Like most around me at Hampden, I was critical of Stokes during the game. Just watched some of the key moments on TV and he was a lot more influential that I gave him credit for.

     

     

    My MOTM was Broonie closely followed by Johansen, Bitton and Virgil.

     

     

    It wasn’t a great game but it was a good team effort.

    They did.It was 5-2.I remember our football teacher drumming it into us before our game.LOL.After our game we watched the Celtic A v The Celtic B.You have all seen the pictures from Roy Croppie.It was the Hoops against the Shamrock strips.

     

    I remember,John Macnamee,John Keurilla(wrong spelling),Jim Kennedy,Dunky MacKay,A wee Jinky,..Great memories.Great talking to you.What a place Govan was.

    When I started supporting Celtic there were always wiser older guys who would tell us when we were getting out of hand. Nowadays that doesn”t happen. I can say as an absolute fact that there are too many guys taking thinigs they shouldnae be at the games.

    Aye right, I used to think at school the Ghirls get took away to learn “the stare” as HT already posted its like your mothers disapproval, the only fly in the ointment is my 6 year old wee daddy’s ghirl gives me the same stare, my 2 older step-daughters were taking their mum out for Mother’s Day today so my good lady said for me to go out and cheer the hoops on, the aforementioned 6 year old gave me “the stare” and said “no way he has been out Friday & Saturday” now I think you are just born with it !

     

     

    By the way every time my daughter doesn’t let me out it just reminds me of her Gran, their spirit definitely lives on

    Not at game today. Poor poor planning on my behalf. Checked back in December, no home game this weekend. So booked a wee night away last night & today at Fairmount in St Andrews with Mrs MM. Saw Pedro & Dan on Twitter at game, got him on to it at last. Was telling Pedro of a great tweeter from your neck of the woods.

    Some folks just can’t help themselves being negative about Celtic. We have just deservedly won a trophy yet there some on here talking about whether United should have had a penalty. It will be interesting to hear what your thoughts are after you have watched it again.If it had been at the other end I think we would have been pretty angry that the penalty wasnt given.Of course I had the advantage of watching it in slow motion the ref didnt I know i gave a sigh of relieve.     Quick few thoughts on today.

     

     

    Misfired up front,but not by much-margins at that level. Griff came so close so often.

     

     

    Stokes and Izzy were outstanding down their side,ripped their opponents time and again.

     

     

    Paton,Utd 6,is a dirty animal. Fired up all day,he took his first chance to maim a Celt after the red card when he took out Efe. Red all day anywhere else.

     

     

    Scott Brown,stunning.

     

     

    Meeting CQN royalty,and curtsying suitably,was an enormous pleasure.

     

     

    Going to a winning League Cup Final with my Dad-I genuinely believe that’s the first time we’ve done that,seen loads of defeats-priceless.

    I was directly on line when Brown challenged Dow, never a penalty imo.

     

     

    Disappointing to hear stories about Celtic supporters not exactly supporting.

     

    I sat surrounded by Tims, good ones at that, I got lucky I suppose.

     

    Hope everyone who had a less than a positive experience get a better one at the Scottish Cup Final:-)
