Minx and HT: sorry you had to put up with so much from those around you today. I am certain you will feel much better seeing so many on here replying and knowing that they are aware of how much you both do for the cause.
Took me sometime to get into the swing of things today. Morning started out with Noakes accusing me of mendacity.Hopefully he got over his superior moral high ground to be able to appreciate the good game our captain had today and joined the rest of us in showing how much Broonie means to us and to the team.

Re Guidetti, he laid the ball back to JF for his goal so if that’s all he did ,it was an important contribution.I really don’t think we’ll get to know what either he or Scepovic can do unless they get a few more starts. Can’t blame Ronny for sticking with a settled team though.

Hopefully I didn’t say where it was……my good lady has 3 family tables, I have 5 family tables and 3 friends tables, seemingly back in the very early 50s my father was still inviting people to the wedding the day before, she says about me “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree”

My tale of today
After the total communication failure of two of my workmates I got away from work at 1510 and listened to the game on the radio while driving.
Finally caught the game on telly just before Kris’s goal at my dear mothers. She’d been talking to her elder sister, my brilliant 89 year old auntie, who’d been telling the old lady about the chocolates and flowers she’d received from my cousins, her daughters.
Mother, who although sharp as a tack as regards day to day stuff has little medium and long term memory, replied “oh I don’t suppose **** will even remember”
This despite me never once forgetting Mothers day ever, flowers in hand. She is in my opinion the best woman ever born. Compassion, common sense, intellect and taste, she’s got it all except she still thinks that Scottish football has suffered from the demise of Rangers.
Watched the rest of the first half with her. Caught the rest at home with the boy.
Decent performance, pleased for Jamsie, Tony and Kris in particular. All played well and justified their inclusion.
Great support apart from the numpties behind HT and Minx.
I had heard about the SH plate auction and am somehow not surprised that Oldtim was in the middle of it. What a ghuy. Brilliant post at the heart of CQN.
Tom McLaughlin’s post about handing over his ticket to his brother and watching on TV with his dad really struck a chord with me.
I’m not sure how many missed this but leftclickceltic posted this earlier, a poignant remembrance of his dear dad and I belive it deserves a repost

Enjoyed today.
First half we seemed disjointed, too many
misplaced passes. Second half much better. Delighted for Ronny.
Watching any game at Hampden from the South or North stand is far superior than
behind the goals.
No numpties nearby today either.
Thought the support were in good voice.
