  1. We looked like a decent side today in an entertaIning game. I was surprised how poor United were today, must be relegation candidates. Craig Thompson should also be relegated (I don’t care where to).

Thought Tierney did well today .

    Simunovic looked promising.

Johanson looked better in the deeper roll.

Commons needs to play through the middle.

Armstrong appeared to come inside more and looked a better player for it.

Lustig and Izzy for me at fullback, however if Tierney continues in the same way, Izzy may become the backup.

    Is Janko injured?

Listening to Tracy’s favourite band. The Cure. I’m in love with you.”Just Like Heaven.”

  3. Only first impressions , and against poor opposition , but the new centre back Simunovic was impressive and comfortable on the ball. Let’s hope he stays fit.

He was also given an early taste of MIB gratitude by receiving a yellow card for an innocuous clash of heads.

    Welcome to Scotland Jozo .

  4. Pannysbhoy

No idea on Janko, not been in squad last few weeks either

Not heard of his injury ? Or that of Scott Allen

  5. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Dixie Deans, it was a league cup game.

United absolutely destroyed us that night, as good a performance I have saw from an away Scottish team at Celtic Park.

When Jim McLean was interviewed on Scotsport, after the game. The first thing he said was how good our support was that night. He was right.n

  6. Delaneys Dunky on

I will judge him when he needs to defend, however, our big Croat Tim was magic today. :)

  7. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

According to etims or celtic underground twitter, Janko , was in with the support in the family section today.

  8. Delaneys Dunkey

Sorry to hear about your loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

That was a mid week 2nd leg game and we were well horsed , think that’s where the Dodds song started but can’t remember since I was well horsed that night too!

  10. blantyretim is praying for the Knox family on

Janko was in studio on CelticTV saying he took a slight knock in training

Scott Browns goal was an og

  11. Gordon. Did nothing. (Arabs Quick News can’t make for good reading tonight. They were very poor)

Efe. One bombscare moment. Came to nothing this time and decent enough apart from that.

Jozo. Strong, fast, seeming organiser. Some shot on him. A Talking to for the merest bump. Booking for a simple foul. Welcome to Celtic!

Boyatta. Fine enough against not very anything from Utd.

Tierney. If anyone on here knows this kid’s family they should be proud as punch tonight. I love Izzie to bits but this kid defends better, moves forward as well and has a far better final ball into the box.

    Johannsen. Decent game.

Commons. Good game, lovely 2nd goal.

Gms. Much more like his original celtic self

    Armstrong – ditto

    Broonie. Good.

Griffiths – set the tone with his chase in for the first goal.

    Subs all looked tidy enough.

Felt it became a good game. Another reminder of how frustrating it can be to play against a team with all 11 behind the ball.

Today I got to take my daughter to Paradise.

HT my daughters first game was the infamous 3-1 SC defeat to ICT. She was 9.

It’s also the last game she attended! Ironically, she now lives in Inverness.

I imagine you’re daughter might be more willing to go back than mine was.

Re Jozo’s booking. Said to my mate at the time when that clown Thompson had a word with him for absolutely no reason, he’ll book him for his next foul challenge. He in my opinion is the worst of all the mibs and that takes some doing.

Also 1 minute injury time. Six substitutions and treatment given to a man down injured. Just glad I never had a correct score bet on for 6 nil or 5 – 1!!

  17. nakasammi

Thought exactly the same pal. Thomson’s petty fouls in the first 20 mins mark him out as a stand out mibbery man.

SOAL – you know jozo’s dad?

  18. Neg 2 You must have blinked. However I have seen the foul on the young sevco player at least 20 times this week. Which is about 19 times more than I’ve seen the incredible referring decision by Muir not to award the most blatant penalty you could ever see. HH

  19. Neganon2.

    First up.

Finally, an expert opinion from a pundit on the programme.

Lasley asked about McKay’s awful tackle in the ICT game, which got him red-carded.

    Awful tackle? He’d know!

  23. Interesting that a run of one point from a possible twelve for the sheep is deemed to be unworthy of comment.

Let’s talk about possible offsides instead.
