Faultless performances throughout on reflection.

Title showdown at the Nou Camp next Saturday, Barcelona v Atletico Madrid. Atletico only need a draw but I can’t help thinking they blew it today against 13th placed Malaga. Should be quite a spectacle.

Just logged on after attending title party today – a day that should be of celebration – so why all the chatter about Neil leaving? Msm spin ? To spoil? Hh
Sorry, but why does anyone listen to the rubbish the MSM put out.
Think on this.
Celtic presented with Championship Trophy, a great day at Celtic Park, both the Club and support do Oscar proud.
So what do the MSM rumour mongers put out, a good news Celtic story?
Aye likely.
Get your rumours about Celtic from E-Tims, at least they admit they make it up!
(And are more accurate)

Watching recording of aftermatch celebrations. I don’t know about you guys but I can’t wait for start of next season. Club have cashed cheque for my season ticket. I’m as excited as hell. Some have said it already and I’m going to reiterate it. If you are fortunate enough to be able to afford to buy a season ticket please renew. If you can afford to get to some games please make the effort. We all want success but it costs money.
Hail! Hail!

Great day at Paradise today.
All that is good about Celtic was in evidence today.
Fantastic.

Dr Ramesh, thinking that he’ll miss Samaras. Great player. He was maybe a bit inconsistent but he can do things that no other can do. He wins games on his own but is very much a team player at the same time. Loved seeing him destroying the pre-zombies. He’s what football is about. He keeps the game alive, unpredictable, interesting.
Great overall performance by the team this season apart from the domestic cups.
In Europe we qualified despite some horrible ties against teams well into their league, teams for Asia and plastic pitches. In the CL we dreamed of greatness for 3 games before returning to reality.
Stalwarts:
Brown, fantastic season apart from disastrous CL folly.
FF, great keeper.
Lustig, has suffered injuries but real quality.
Efe, not everyone’s cup of tea but much more settled. Overall has shown a growing maturity.
Izzy, nearly back to his best which is great to see. Many assists.
KC, fantastic season. Real creative spark and tremendous goalscoring ability. Mature. Sometimes has a stinker but ends up scoring a peach. Key player. 8 times out of 10 a pleasure to watch.
Stokes, should have scored more goals but has matured a lot and has now become a team player. Is growing into his role.
New guys:
Virgil, many times he has been exceptional. Is still young and prone to thinking that football is easy, that he can score a wonder goal every week or if he doesn’t, well tracking back…seems a wee bit boring…Overall impressive debut season. Needs another season in CL to prove himself at highest level.
Pukki, glimpses of a player. Great shot on him and movement is good. Small heart and weak on the ball. Needs to brighten up a bit. He’s no longer in Finland. Things are ok now.
Balde, raw. Not much of a chance to shine but hard to see anything there apart from a player who might score an occasional 1 on 1.
Bo, 30 fantastic minutes then nada.
Johansen, positive contribution. Needs to control the running about but have seen enough to be happy.
Griffiths, potential. Good goals and assists. Needs to improve decision making.
Biton, something there. Every time he was coming into a game he got injured or sent off. Looking forward to seeing more from him next season.
Youths:
Fisher, impressed me greatly. Very calm for his age and was part of a record that might never be broken.
Liam, what’s not to like. Great show of quality and gallus for one so young.
Mention:
Jamesy, occasionally great but needs to stay away from injuries and be more consistent. talent.
Matthews, same as Jamesy!
Samaras, Samaras, Samaras, as my girlfriend says. That is always followed by cheering or groaning. In full flow is a pure joy to watch and I will miss him.
