Imagine dumpin your S T when your club needed you and ur money most??? Was it tenner or a fiver one??

  2. Timbhoy…. With the crap Lenny has had to put up with since signing under MON I don’t blame his seige mentality!

If he wins this league I think he will walk! once he repays our faith he will leave for the good of his health and his families sake IMO.

We owe him our support!an incredible man with incredible inner strength.

  4. Back to Basics – Glass half full,

Fair play mate, we’re both Celtic fans………

I think we are getting back to basics, 4 victories in a row, playing reasonably well and I will stick by my assertion that we were excellent tonight.

Average age on Sunday at Inverness, 24.1

    Average Age tonight 23.4.

TJ, glass overflowing with pride and optimism and support for a great young manager.

  5. I think the team played amazing tonight. I would have taken a hard fought 1-0 tonight providing we got the three points but credit to the team for the way they played. Some of the best passing football I have seen us play and we are only going to improve when the new signing/s and injuries are available.

Well done NL and the team. It could have been more but on another day it would have and it will.

Totally agree, they were painful times…..more down than up….perhaps the infrequent good on the pitch was overshadowed by the suffering.

Anyhoo, well done Neil and the Bhoys another 3 points clawed back. I am now starting to get that (jaded) belief back, by the turn of the year the difference will be easily overcome!!

    Comments like what?

Get off your high and mighty horse and go for a lie down.

I stick to Paul’s rules and will certainly not be “refraining” from any of your requests.

  9. Did anyone think maybe Paddy was under heavy coaching manners tonight?

“If you are on the left wing with 3 Pars around you, then our RM/RB is unmarked wide right. If you make no headway scurry across and pass to him.”

  10. Snake

I beg to differ re Fraser being the difference from a win or draw.

Goals as everybody knows change games, and had big Fraser not saved a certain goal and they had scored the whole game play would have changed, it would have changed out of sight, we might have gone on to score 3-4 who knows,

The players who we have are as good as they are, they are not good enough to be playing at the top clubs, so we shouldn’t expect them to play like players who are at the top clubs.

I also thought the referee was atrocious tonight, obstruction on a Celtic player was not in his eyesight tonight, and some of the tackles he let them away with was shocking.

We are a very young team of individuals from all over the world, and are severly hampered with injuries, give them a break, they deserve it.

  11. Just home typical Glasgow rain lashed November night.

Wondering if Rod Stewart left early, or stayed for the squeaky time, at the end of an incredible second half dip.

Often happens to teams (especially us) when they miss a penalty, that would have sealed the game.

Somehow the opposition always gains strength and yet Celtic were so far ahead of Dunfermline it was embarrassing, incredible scoreline but still the same three points.

The loss of Commons was crucial as Paddy didn’t seem to know what to do with being given an entire 45, and when Ki swept the spot kick wide this nervy Celtic side seemed to lose confidence, and visibly so.

It wasn’t a game of two halfs just missed chances from Celtic, but NL will need to work again with the side because St Mirren, are a better unit than Dunfermline.

The tendency to be over elaborate should be eradicated, and Fraser Foster obviously under orders to take his time, was booked for time wasting, to seal an untidy ending to a game where Celtic should have been, out of sight.

    Fine.

Carry on acting as if you are judge, jury and executioner of who is allowed to be a Celtic supporter.

See how long people continue to enter into conversations with you.

You might not enjoy this place so much when no ones listening.

  13. Aaaaah Snake,

I wanted more goals as well.

    I wish we hadn’t conceded.

    But I’m delighted.

The margins are thin, shots were blocked, posts struck, penalties missed.

I would be more worried if I didn’t witness Gary Hooper sprint 40 yards to take the pressure off our defence and win us a throw in in the 3rd minute of injury time. No attitude problem there.

  14. Commons has the Ability to Collect the Ball. without breaking Stride.

He has a Gear Box that has NO REVERSE Gear.. just.. Forward Wans..

Therefore. he Keeps the tempo of the Play.. in a Fast Forward Manner.

Ki and ithers… dither and Dally while the Hot Rolls are getting Cauld.

Ah canny understaun if Ah notice these differences in Technique aboot these Players who Ah hiv named.. and Lenny and his Coaching staff Hivnae…

Gary, gets the football..and immediately. returns it .. BACK to the guy who jist passed it Tae Him…

The Result of Gary doing this.. Breaks Doon the Attack.. faster than

a Soufle.. Implodes.. in a Cauld Room. efter it is Removed fae A Hoat Oven!

He should be able to control the Fitball.. and Make at least an Attemt at

    making a FORWARD PASS..

Yet.. Gary does what Ah hiv described.. constantly…in Every Match..

    Yet..

Oor Coaches never seem tae Notice..

  15. Ard Macha,

thanks for posting that. A thoughtful piece, would never have have heard of him had you not posted that. Off to read more of his.

    CQN at its’ best,

    thanks

I agree, we are subject to some horrendous challenges from teams in this league. Things that would get yellow cards all the time against the orc’s.

The injuries are not a training issue they are lack of protection from the MIB’s.

It is a disgrace but all we need to do is beat what is in front of us and not let the heads get down, then we can have the last laugh.

  17. To those who suggested throwing away, or giving up their season ticket:

I am sure there are a lot of charities, wether they be connected to Celtic or not, that would be very glad to raise money by auctioning said season book, or perhaps each match individually can be done also?

    Just a thought………

  18. Eyes Wide Open, take a chill pill.

There are some disgraceful comments on this blog at times, from regular posters too. “Cyber bullying” of a sort.

I’ll give you some credence when I see you pulling up each and every one of those posters.

Meanwhile, you are free to scroll on by from my posts…..

  19. Some people just don’t know how to win! Look at City, United & Chelsea, all you hear is how well they played and how unlucky they were. Celtic win at a canter at home and they still can’t win! FFS! Don’t buy the laptop loyal pish!

DON’T FORGET TO SUPPORT THE STRIKE ON WEDNESDAY!!!

  20. Whoever it was that Lenny berated at CP tonight?… Settle soon mate!

We played extremely well tonight and got the vital win we needed!

If commons stayed on 2nd half we would have destoyed the pars.

But 3 points are 3 points!

    They are running scared now!

DONT allow the media to split the support and try and put pressure on Lenny!

They were trying it tonight with that exchange!

THEY will make a big deal of it!

Let’s pull together! As one we will win this!

    The tide Is turning

  21. AJ CFC

Don’t get me started on them cheating hun refs, they are a disgrace to their profession.

No wonder scottish football is in the state it’s in when one team is favoured over all others, I suppose the ironic thing is they are destroying the game they love for the betterment of one club and it has backfired.

Competition is good for the game, the sfa and their employees have seen to it that competition in scotland is a one way street and in the process have destroyed the game.

Hell mend the lot of them.

  22. Kojo, ya crazy denizen of cloud cuckoo land……

Now, I sure don’t want to sound like a soporophic pundit but…..

Have you ever played the game?

A strikers maist mundane task is to receive the ball with his back to goal, hold, protect, get yer airms oot, perch yer posterior Dalglish style and……..lay aff…..yes lay aff, spin and go in behind. That’s the number 9 rule, since the dawn of time………

It just so happens that oor Gary can also counter attack from a deep position in midfield, but his primary function is that ,,,,which I hiv just espoused…….

TJ, who thinks yer a beezer.

  23. Bourne, I understand what you posted about Paddy but I think he came into his own during the last 15 mins when we lost our way, the Celtic players always looked for Paddy for a pass, he’s the only player we have who can keep the ball and rarely lost it during that period.
