Solid performance and for me it was obvious from the start that we had upped a gear. It’s all about the players on the pitch, how they play and how they’re managed.
It does my nut in about this starting 11 as we should know by now is the 16 that contribute that matters.
James Forrest (not the blogger) outstanding once more.
Brendan son, moving the ball quicker like last night is the way to go, much more brilliant than tippy tappy, side to side stuff, brilliant.
Reminds me of a Korean International team from 2000’s era, brilliant stuff.
Young Engels was a revelation, can you imagine if it was done with 2 strikers in the box?
I know it was Falkirk we were playing, and maybe John McGlynn, bless him, was a victim of the dark side of the Celtic Way, the bit were you learn nothing and eventually get bored watching your team not learning new stuff.
If Brendan had us set up were no team knew how we’d play from one week to the next would be my dream come true, Jason Bourne type of management, and I would die even happier than I am this morn.
Btw, Teary Mann, what do you think will happen to Hundreds of millions of innocent American’s, most of whom have never even fired a gun, if the Lobby takes their guns off of them?
Only recently the Lobby had the FBI/CIA spying on Catholic masses in America in case the Priest would break the law, and say the Mass in Latin, Tulsi Gabbard kicked off about it, Media must have missed that. lol
The party which is anti these Lobbies gets my vote.

Good Morning Fholk – Grand Weekend To Be A Tim…
Great display by Brendan and the Bhoys last night, good tempo and lots of quality.
Wee bit rusty at times, as you would expect this time of the season but overall a fine victory.
Still baffled why fholk think players like Engels and Trusty are poor.
They exude the attributes we want in Celtic players, think we forget how young Engels is and how we moaned about corners, free kicks, penalties etc etc
The bhoy can’t change all that on his own but a narrow miss from a great free kick, an excellently classic goal from a corner and no penalties last night but how many do we miss these days?
Thought all our first choice, first team players showed well too; AJ, KT, Calmac, Daizen, different class.
Great to see the evergreen James Forrest have another great game and so happy for big Dane Murray, new contract, fine display and a great goal to top it off…

Great game and fabulous atmosphere. Well done, Brendan and the squad. Great time to be a Celt.

One of the problems for Paul and for those that agreed with is that they did not define Celtic’s “strongest” eleven. Of course it may be that Brendan does not know it himself, but either way I, was pleased to see that he did vary his starting eleven last night, made some changes, not too many and gave some players, like Sinisalo, Murray and Kenny a start, and others like Engels a new start, and Yang later. What that did was give opportunity, and bring added motivaton to the whole team. True did not quite work out for Kenny, but had it not been for some resolute defending from Falkirk, and it has to be said some fine goalkeeping from Scott Bain, we would have been a few goals to the good in the first half. As we were in the second. Overall we look a bit sharper, as we should, and have some good options. If we could add a bit more firepower we would and will be in fairly good shape for the season ahead.

Best bargain buy next to Henrik?
O’Neill was made aware Agathe’s contract was due to expire at the turn of the year and made his move. The Leith club, managed by Alex McLeish, faced losing the player for nothing or accept Celtic’s cut-price offer of £27,000.

A Good performance from most of the Celtic Bhoys, however it COULD be so much BETTER …….IF we had a GOAL SCORING Centre Forward !
Johnny Kenny will never be a MAIN STRIKER for Celtic.
Likewise, ADAM IDAH ( I do know that he didnt play last night), but he just is NOT good enough.
Either we play DAIZEN MAEDA thru the middle as the Main Striker…or give SHIN YAMADA a decent run as the Main striker ?
I suspect that I am not alone with the view above ?
ALSO SINISALO is better than Kasper…………….There, Ive said it.
Keiran Tierney was just brilliant last night.
