Efe can’t jump

Fenerbahçe had done nothing till then. Nothing. SB had Miereles in his sky, Bitton was pressing forward as the half progressed. Forrest was our go-to man and he delivered.
Only blot for me is Johansen. He’s been anonymous.
We played them off the park in the first half so I hope we don’t let Efe’s blunder get to us. Play with the same pace and controlled aggression in the second half and we will win this convincingly. The first half score flatters them.
Shocker from Ambrose ruined a great first half. Crowd supporting the big man which is good to see.
If your job as a defender is to stop the other team scoring and , instead , you regularly actually create chances for them then you have to go.

But for a free kick not given by the ref for a foul on Efe and his weak header we’d be two up & cruising. Hope the Bhoys can lift him for the second half as his head looked to have gone a bit.

Stop talking shite, there’s no one on that park who hasn’t made a mistake in the first half, Effe mistimed the header it happens, he’s still a very good player who has to carry the defence and is doing a great job, he’s no the first time and it won’t be the last but winning is what we’re here to do. Away goals don’t make a difference unless it’s the winner.
Would have taken 2-1 half-time if offered it at the start. Poor decision-making by Efe but other than that he has not been too bad. As long as we don’t dwell on it too long we can still win this. Next goal is critical so let’s hope it is for us. Pleasantly surprised by our first half showing and the fans have been magnificent. More of the same second half please.

Replay shows Efe having time to have a look before the header, so should have known he was never going to get enough power on it. Let it fall and blooter it oot!!
all the EFFE haters just loving it. reminds me of years ago FRANK FINLAY tv series CASANOVA. lots of sex so all the old men in hospitals in GLASGOW managed to get themselves out of bed at 9pm to watch.

Efe won’t do. I really like him but he doesn’t learn from his mistakes. Shouldn’t have let the ball bounce.
Apart from that, Celtic are playing brilliantly. I would be ruthless and take Efe off. His confidence is not likely to recover and fans are very angry with him.

Yes we’re all disappointed at his mistake but it wasn’t a simple situation.
For some reason though no matter who plays CB we don’t seem to be able to handle a physical Center forward be it Fenerbace’s number 9 or Rosenberg’s.

On a positive note our Jamesy is handing the Fenerbahce defence their arses. They can’t cope with him, the difference between this game and the Hearts game is the Ref will not allow Fenerbahce to kick JF off the ball.
