CalMac was fantastic today….to say otherwise is just daft..

    ……………………………………………………….

Callum is a 8/10 Every game. The Guy is amazing. Just watched the game again, Jota done that Wonder Pass, I knew it was a Belter frae (401).

I’ve paid for the Ticket before vaccination Government advice so I was going. The SLO said there won’t be any refunds for the likes of me.

The Celtic Juggernaut has turned it’s engine back on.

    RIP Garry Bhoy.

  2. !!BADA BING!! on 19TH OCTOBER 2021 8:59 PM

The pass from Jota, took the GK out,he wasin no man’s land, a brilliant first touch and boom

Correct Bada, from where I looked in 106 you could see the gap/keeper error for kyogo to pass it into the net.

👏🏽 Against the odds, we have reached enough signed forms for both resolutions to make it to the Celtic PLC AGM this year.

Thanks everyone for all your help sharing and signing – now, we need to get the vote out for a strong fan voice! ✊🏽

  4. Almost ten years ‘down the line’ those with too much time on their hands and an agenda only targeted at the Celtic board have succeeded in getting a story in the SUN to boost their egos. Win, lose, or, draw, this saga will benefit absolutely no one

It is akin to some pedantic pen-pusher in a council office pursuing a dead person’s estate for an unpaid parking ticket. Rangers FC are gone – as UEFA told the ‘resolutioners’ – you cannot punish something that does not exist. Of course these Trust people know that, they want to ‘put the boot into’ Celtic.

The Celtic board were right not to get drawn into the Rangers sh**-storm in 2012.

There are much bigger issues from fifty-years ago that will test and impact on Celtic in the not too distant future.

Who do these Celtic Trust people think they are? They represent a miniscule speck in the Celtic family. Trouble-making is their pastime/hobby – if it wasn’t Res12, it would be something else.

The Celtic board is not perfect, no grouping of human beings is…. not even the Trust.

  5. Bhoy From The Boyne on

Really enjoyed watching the 2nd half. It’s slowly coming together.

Probably not his best game to date, but I just love Tony Ralston’s attitude & work ethic. And he saved a likely goal with that sliding tackle. A good honest pro and all the better given he is an academy graduate!

There is a buzz about the place!

  6. Yes Tony is a good honest pro,but sadly,he will not take us where we want to go.I love the boy,his attitude and desire for the club, but we need better.Hopefully Juranovic.

    CMcG was poor this afternoon.

Couple of good touches / couple of good plays but overall he was poor.

Never seemed to want the ball — slow / square passes were his stock in trade for far too long.

Very rarely took the ball on the half turn and moved forward.

Defensively he was poor — left in someone’s slipstream all to often.

Shooting was well below his best — very insipid / no confidence / playing in slippers.

When NB came on it was as if he had just met his shadow.

Really poor tippy tappy stuff between them until they got bored.

Things then settled down and he was more active.

Overall the MF was poor — especially in the first half.

CCV had more quality forward passes than CMcG.

When we made it into the final third all too often it was after you Claude.

We looked over coached where too many were trying to remember AP’s instructions rather than the opportunities that were in front of them.

We are / were a much better side than them tonight.

Just a case that we struggled to back ourselves and we had a couple of players who are not up to our standard — at least not at the moment.

CMcG’s attempt at the penalty was shocking.

To me it looks as if it was too much for him and his attempt was perfect for an alert save.

We are not good enough to miss penalties on a regular basis.

Too much of our play is built around old school SPL notions / standards — if we miss a sitter then no worries we will get another chance soon enough.

Unfortunately the SPL has caught up on us all too often and we won’t always get second chances in the EuL never mind the CL.

CMcG is a good player — left sided AM — and getting better slowly.

He should be a squad player but we have so little talent than he is now a starter.

However he is nowhere near the defensive pivot we need.

Couldn’t keep weans oot a close — never could / never will.

I’d taped the game and decided to hit the first fast forward button for the first half, as I was being critical that we wurnae daeing enough. Fast forward as it wisnae as Exciting…….. dae the same and you see the Amazing workrate frae the Celtic players that Ange said would knacker the very defensive Ferencvaros – 2nd Half we cut them open with ease.

    Great day.

    Got to the game.

    Terrific performance and victory.

    Watched it again at home.

    Amazing first goal.

    Then read back on CQN.

Joyous comments are a joy to read.

Back and forth between RC and Philbhoy made me smile.

I’ve been irritated previously by the attention seeking antics of the Green Brigade ….

… but didn’t see much wrong with their banner today.

Our club and our fans have been treated like a pinball on this one.

Bounced around by Police Scotland and UEFA.

Well done the Celtic fans who turned up in huge numbers in spite of the schedule.

  19. Delighted for a win that was as much an exercise in application and grind as it was flair and panache.

Which is an attractive mix to be able to pull off.

Just think of our full potential when we play with 11 guys all on song rather than 9.

Or a squad that included an attacking LB like Bolingoli (have we banned him from any Euro trips since his ill-fated Euro trip??)

I, like Ange, love the energy, grit and application of Tony R; a much better balanced RB than we’ve had in yonks.

The lads Abada and Monty were like two jerseys short; neither willing to take full responsibility for brave moves altho – as has been said – both had handy cameo moves that contributed to a good team effort.

Shoulda been 4 or 5. Happy w the trois points. HH

  20. Park the bus > and blootir it > simple on

The Resolution 11/12 thing has dragged on

    because Celtic supporters financially condone

a Celtic executive / PLC who’ve “sneakily” blocked

any attempts to progress the Resolution to its conclusion.

The latest move which I can’t be bothered reading about

has the the “Celtic Trust” named as being involved this time.

I mean, is this the same Celtic Trust who, along with the

Green Brigade last season protested for 6 months in the

car park against the “PLC Frauds” and then when it could’ve

really mattered they put their banners away and then

gave the “PLC Frauds” tens of millions £ in ticket renewals

and then, get this, released a statement saying….

“We are backing Ange, NOT the PLC” after handing tens

of millions in ticket renewals to the PLC !!

Same price old firm tickets – mugged !!

We’re a “Stand Alone Club” just as they bring in

Gerry “Old Firm” McCulloch to lead Celtic TV !!

Just as Lawwell flys to London to clinch a TV deal

which “must include” coverage of Sevco games !!

    And on and on….

The club is now a capitalist concept a Tory concept.

The poor are no longer a part of the Celtic fabric.

We no longer are the club that stands up to the powerful

we roll about the bed with the corrupt and powerful.

There’s no working class fabric at the club

the titanic battle for a living wage is testimony to that.

Socially connected to the poor and working class

cannot be ever spun by a club who plays in a domestic

puddle yet lords it up in Dubia during a world lockdown.

The only Irishman of any integrity it seems is the impressive

St Mirren manager, Jim Goodwin, who made clear his objections

to a “dubious” health initiative from a highly dubious if not,

blatantly anti Celtic local govt, that this impedes his supporters

rights to medical privacy. If the medicine works, why the

need for all of the overblown continuation of restrictions?

It either works, or it doesn’t !!

Scots continued to wear masks after the rest of UK and we

ended up with the worst rates in Europe ?

Who do we believe when all are proven continued liars ?

Great news that the CST had sufficient signed forms for both Resolutions. After the Board’s abortive attempt to catch the Trust unawares with minimal notice of the AGM, I am sure they are diligently scrutinizing every form in an attempt to disqualify or invalidate them on some pretext.

Makes you wonder what exactly the Board are afraid of, doesn’t it?
