Would possibly prefer Mo (easier to spell!) up front – makes really good runs in behind – and Christie in usual position in behind, so less of a change. Neil’s decision on striker-replacement makes it easier to fit N’Cham in the midfield too, which he’s shown in the past he wants to do (albeit it has been not entirely successful). So – probably N’Cham / Broonie deep middle. He might put Jimmy out left (which I don’t like) to accomodate Ryan coming in off the right (where Jimmy is best). Danger is Jimmy and Mo (who also likes coming in from left) – AND Taylor who will overlap down that side – might get under each other’s feet – so I hope that’s NOT the plan. Simplest would be straight swap as most are assuming – Christie for OE.
Interesting to see formation, but this continued a pattern of odd changes in big games that has, more often than not, failed.
Fingers crossed that we blow them away in a blizzard of goals!!!
