I thought we were good for the first half our or more last night but gradually lost our fluidity. Even so, we had some very good chances and I don`t recall Hamilton having any so three points well deserved and welcomed.
Off to the golf now where my slender chances of scoring below my age have increased by one.

Indeed; it was very often criminalised in early religions and cultures and didn’t come with a 30 day stretch in the big hoose. The punishments were many and varied, but most definitely painful and took you to your abandoned God much quicker than you anticipated!
I’m busy moving home for the next couple of days bhoys, so I may be offline until I get organised ?
I hope to meet the usual suspects this Saturday in the BV prior to game v Dundee, as my new home is only 10 minutes walk from the BV !

Best start to a season ever by a new Manager. Amazing Brendan. Credit to Ronny Deila for his part in assembling and developing the majority of this team. We shouldnt forget that Brendan has been backed by the PLC and has the luxury of certain players applying themselves to their maximum. He is much better though.
Dena, wee prayer said for mini you and her final treatment today. Fingers, toes, legs, arms, eyes and ears crossed.
Hebcelt, great news buddy. And so the black pudding runs continue.
Bhoys were charged with the destruction of a mighty solid defensive setup last night. Probably the most solid setup they have faced this season. A well organised back and middle lines. Once again job down. Could and should have been more but giving HA credit for their bus parking. The last 8 minutes + injury time were fraught with a few errors as HA came out having done their job but it was only our slackness that could have cost us rather than their ingenuity. Wee shout out to messi in goal for his control from a very awkward back pass. I’d still like to see Gordon being stronger with shots to his near post, not an issue last night, but imo it is now his only weakness in his game.
Onwards to as many WORLD BLOODY RECORDS AND TREBKES AND …IN A ROWS as is imaginable from here to infinity.

If that had been Ronny in charge last night he would have got slaughtered. When his team scored 8 against Hamilton he got no credit – it was all about how terrible Hamilton were.
I agree that BR is better but the fact that he inherited practically the whole team that won the League Cup Final shows that Ronny didn’t do too badly. Ronny’s mistake was sticking with Bitton and an unfit Scott Brown during that dodgy period last season (and playing SA in a wide position).

I see big Nir Bitton is getting it tight yet again!
We don’t play particularly well; get 3 points; don’t create much and miss most of what we do create; Erik and Jozo both misplace passes badly towards the end of the game. Not a peep.
Big Nir comes on and makes one misplaced pass and he’s the villain yet again.
As it’s Christmas, we should all shout in unison “WATCH OUT, HE’S BEHIND YOU!”
What is it with Celtic fans that we ALWAYS have to have an escaped goat?
Todays “List of the Day”: top 5 few past holders of the Escaped Goat Yellow Jersey:
I never have and never will give any club credit for defencev and negative football, it’s not entertaing, it’s totally boring, and lacks imagination in a coaches job who they seem to forget are in the game of sport to entertain, that wasent entertainment, a monkey with a pencil and paper could have set that team up the way they played last night,.
That’s the kind of tactics that chase people away from the games on a cold December night, no thought at all for the punters, just Park the bus, keep the score as low as you can and get out of dodge.
It’s a lack of talent on the coaching side of the game, they don’t have the balls to have a go, put up a fight, show what you’ve got, use your forwards, your attacking midfielder, try something ffs?
Don’t just park a bus in front of the goal and play like that for 80 mins, you read/hear the coaches saying, ” we only set up like that against Celtic” really? Feck me tell us about it, so does every other ferkin team, and we have to watch it every week.
Celtic are the best team in Scotland by a distance, and the rest will learn nothing or improve they’r game using tactics like this, they just don’t have the balls.
Yeah I was thinking about the 8-1 hiding last night when someone posted ‘we would have drawn that game last season’.
________________________________________
I think it was me that posted we would have drawn that game last season; the comment was in terms of the type of performance rather than the opposition.
The 8-1 game was a highlight amongst a lot of below par performances last season where in a few of them we struggled to a draw rather than a win.
The difference this season is that in games such as this one and those against Kilmarnock, Dundee and Aberdeen (four 1-0 victories) and the single goal victories against Hearts and Motherwell we would have dropped points in a few of them. We can now grind out wins in these circumstances, or press home our advantage like we did in Edinburgh or Motherwell.
Another good sign of our developing winning mentality.
