You know who’s statistically most likely to die as a result of a ‘Muslim’ extremist attack? A Muslim.

You know who’s statistically most likely to kill a nominal Christian in a nominally Christian country? A fellow nominal Christian.

See that buzzing in your lug. It’s not your hearing aid needing adjusting. It’s the turgid call of dog whistle politics.

Yesterday I watched The Salt Of The Earth a Film about the photographer Sebastiao Salgado by Wim Wenders, as a photographers myself first I was interested in it but when you see the sheers scale of the human condition captured by this great human beings camera it is a very moving film.

He was a trained economist working for the World Bank who gave it all up to photograph the Exodus of people due to the globalisation and endless war of our wee planet. He is now on the frontline of what’s happening globally to the people of the Earth, all of them not just the ones who would have you believe that everyone not like you is your enemy.

It’s a humbling watch mate, it reduced me to tears.

There are many great human beings out there:))

I posted it . Principally for thinkers .

Not for the predictable response from the ideologically myopic.

If you wish to promote the views of those jockeying for power in other countries, that is entirely up to you.

You’re smart enough to know that you may be challenged for doing so on here,so I’m sure that you do so with the intention of defending and explaining that. Simply denying and deflecting falls well short of doing so.

In that respect, you disappoint me for once.

In other news,Australia is taking steps to eradicate the menace of alien immigrants. Ironically using a foreign agent. Pity it’s only rabbits,eh?

Jews in Europe or Irish in Scotland?

Ah, the benefits of a Catholic education, that allows us to consider such existential issues.

    Not promotion.

    Exposure.

Trump has power. Le Pen may achieve the same.

I hope you were open minded enough to view the You Tube.

    It`s a cri de coeur.

She has followed the Trump line.

This is something we should ignore ?

The fallout for Britain could be of great significance.

That version’s speeded up from the album track, but doesn’t lose any of its emotional force. I’d imagine things are going to speed up for you in the next few weeks, eh?

Hope you’re not having one of those stag weeks. . . One night was more than enough for me! They didn’t really used to hold those bacchanalian bevvy blow-outs the night before the wedding, did they?

I left myself a week’s gap, thank God! Terrible things were threatened, but the drunkenness of others left me relatively unscathed!

  23. beatbhoy

Yep, things getting scary now (less than 5 weeks)!

Stag do done and dusted – a weekend drinking and golfing at Piperdam without any inflatable sheep or Borat mankinis. Marvellous.

NEGANON2, sad news about your sister.

A very dear friend of mine had early onset dementia in his 50’s. I visited him often and when he broke his hip I used to go up and see him in hospital most evenings. He was very uncommunicative with his family; however, I used to sit and sing the old rebel songs we always sung at the football. He would join in and talk to me about the times we went to the games. He remembered virtually nothing else! The singing brought him back; apparently it does for a lot of people so it’s worth a try.

Pat is no longer with us, but I know that in his very last days he relived some wonderful memories!
