French Eddie was injured, back in full training and I reckon will be knocking on the door next week. In a way it’s worked out fine as it made space for Weah & Burke to get a run.
Feel a bit sorry for Burke, he doesn’t deserve to lose his place but Brendan has so many deserving a game he needs to juggle it around a bit.
I hope we can put game to bed first half and that Henderson gets another run.

“It’s important that we continue with the rhythm of our game. It’s our job to work really hard, press the game and create as many chances as we can and follow on from our last two performances.
“When most teams come here they try and keep the game tight and sit in a low defensive block and deny us space. Over my two and half years, the team’s view and idea of the game has become better and better. You’ve got to play with speed, you’ve got to penetrate their lines and disrupt their organisation whilst getting the ball into wide areas and crossing.
“The quicker you can move the ball it tires the opposition out. If it’s still tight going into the last 20 minutes, hopefully you’ve tired the legs of the opponent and more chances will come. The players have dealt with it well and they know today they need to be ruthless in order to sustain our attacks.”
