   Didn’t see the game yesterday and just watched the highlights now. Mikey Johstone looked incredible. Outside of the two goals he had 3 other good efforts on target…..most where he beats 2-3 players in tight spaces.

    

    

   We all know he has to bulk up for senior football but what a talent!!

    

    

   It’s so good seeing top level players from the academy. Tierney, Forrest, McGregor and Johstone are all at or getting to a very high level. Dembele and Henderson have a very good chance too.

   Good day yesterday, 8IAR not something I could have envisaged in the 90s or even after the club was saved.

    

    

   And some of the young talent on display yesterday should make the summer rebuild a lot less stressful. If you’re good enough you’re old enough and the likes of Johnston and Dembele should be considered part of the first team squad going forward.

    

    

   Respect for everything he has done and for captaining the side yesterday but I also think it may be time to move Scott Sinclair on.

   I would also move Sinclair on. We should be able to get 2.5m for him. He would do a great job in the English Championship for a club for 2-3 years.

    

    

   I’d look to invest the money in a younger replacement to compete with Johstone for the LM position and put the wage savings to use elsewhere in the squad.

   Totally agree. Scored a lot of goals for Celtic and always gives his all but decision making at times not the best and its fine margins when you are trying to negotiate 4 CL qualifiers. Now our highest earner I believe. Yeah I could see a move to Middlesborough or similiar trying to get back into the Premiership,

   Great times to be a bhoy, indeed.

    

   Scott Sinclair is a confidence player; he largely flourishes under the right manager, it seems. BR was his man.

    

   Many lauded Jonny Hayes’ work rate v the buns (despite his CBN-analysed wastefulness). Scotty’s workrate yesterday was immense; he personally showed Jerry T how to chase, harry and closedown. But more perspiration than inspiration; agreed. Not too sad if he transferred out: 5mill to Norwich or Sheff Wed. HH

   2nd half yesterday was most entertaining.

    

    

   Obviously there wasn’t much at stake, however it was like a breath of fresh air seeing the team play football without restriction.

    

    

   Some of the skill on display was astonishing.

    I thought Scott Sinclair played well yesterday considering he had zero defensive cover behind him. Toljan was stationed there but I’d struggle to say he even went through the motions. He is so completely right footed, he was just filling a jersey on the left. Our poorest performer by a mile yesterday. Where was Izaguirre? He wasn’t at the presentation either.
