  1. Who forced Hearts players and staff to leave straight after the game? What I saw was shankland trying to be the hard man with serrachi then thought better of it, seinwender shouting at someone in the stand inviting them to come down to the tunnel area, then a whole lotto tears as they got off the bus in Edinburgh.

Hearts tactics today were appaling, the first episode of rolling about was kabore in 10 seconds, the goalkeeper constantly wasted time at restarts and hearts played for long throws into the box and corners, typical mcinnes not changed a bit since his Kilmarnock days, his jacket will be on a shortly peg as they will never have a better chance of winning the league, the cups have been a disaster for them.

    ———

They could have fulfilled their media duties within the bowels of Parkhead, far away from the hordes of raging fans

They chose not to, just to make a statement.

And should be fined (DISGUSTING lol) for doing so

    What a fanny.

First you try to derail our season, then you hedge your bets, then you start talking about fairytales and tomorrow you’ll be saying “Celtic won the league…….BUT…..”

GIRFUY, this one is special……Celtic won the league despite you and yer mates.

Appreciate the xG data provided earlier.

Would still love to know the ball in play stat.

    Of the 101 minutes total time (48 + 53)

    … I’d hazard a guess at 50 minutes.

Disgraceful tactics from the visitors, aided and abetted by the ref.

Pull out the yellow card just once and this ends right quick.

BTW – I just watched the highlights again, putting a stopwatch on from kick off.

First of many Hearts guys to hit the deck resulting in play being stopped?

    Was Kaboré … After 7 SECONDS !!!!!

    (I kid you not)

    Very mucg against the narrative

I hope he celtic media team via the board highlight this

*as it looked as if we were heading for 1-1 the thought going through my head was I would NEVER see TIAR and that’s down to age, even if I did dearie me I probably widnae even recall the importance of it, but as soon as Daizen puts us in front it was back tae “hmm I’m no that ould as 5 more years is sfa”.

  15. What a game – Hearts were Gallus and tactically on top first half. Unattractive, annoying but effective.

That penalty kept us in it but we got lucky.

Second half was different – Martin gambled and it paid off. Let’s do 3-5-2 next Saturday, with Maeda and Yang tracking back if needed – will be game over by half time.

Osmand had a great cameo – bhoy’s a player. Unpopular perhaps but Nygren linked well in a more aggressive formation.

Officials were incompetent at times but no major game changing fubar – I can only assume the far side linesman flagged Daizen’s goal in desperation and hope – wow 😱

  19. Special day!

Made the trip to my local CSC in anticipation of a tense and difficult game. In a season of controversies (many fake) the drama just kept rolling on. Season 25/26 will live in the memory for lots of reasons, many not good, but ultimately just MON! Without him this shitshow of a season would have ended very differently.

    Get the statue commissioned ASAP!

Congrats to the bhoys and let’s get the double done next weekend.

A data center insider has come forward with horrifying revelations about the AI mega-facilities rising across the country. The elites in charge of this are preparing to perpetrate crimes against humanity on a scale the world has never witnessed.

And behind these data centers stand the usual suspects: Bill Gates. BlackRock. Palantir. They’re racing to build these data centers before the public fully realizes what’s unfolding right in front of them.”

  24. What an amazing end to the season and a brilliant result yesterday. Thank you Martin for using your genius to bring out the best in those players and coaches. They will have benefitted hugely as human beings and as future professionals in the game from your instruction and example.

To the game itself. I expected them to be negative but was surprised by the passive team selection. Their manager demonstrated his inadequacies by team selection and style adopted. It paid off for a time but it allowed Martin to take the initiative as and when he pleased – and he did. Although it was very tense, our own players were allowed to stay patient. If they are to progress and stay ahead of the Govan outfit, they need a better coach as well as players.

Martin believes in experience and the players he trusts the most, the senior players, stepped up and took the strain. That’s character building and demonstrative of the character the manager has instilled. Martin’s determination was infectious and his realistic hope for what was possible has kept everyone on board. He was spot on about the power of Celtic in unison at Celtic Park.

There’s much to be done for the coming season and a critical reflection on the season past needs to happen – but after the cup final. Only Celts in unison will make it a double.

Thank you Celtic for another triumph and a brilliant day.

  25. GlassTwoThirdsFull on

Congratulations Martin, Callum and the team and all in the football department. A well-earned reward for an incredible never-say-die effort in overcoming the most formidable opposition possibly in our history. Not to mention a few decent teams we came up against.

Commiserations to the best manager in Scotland, savant Bloom and their yellow-label bargain players for accumulating 13 points more than Steve Clarke’s Kilmarnock. Well, there’s always next year. Or 2066 as it’s known in Gorgie. At least there’s no cup final to lose this time. And Radio GaGa is a fine tune, although I do prefer We Are The Champions!

A wee mention for Marcelo Saracchi for his part in that amazing league-winning goal. And how about that stunning strike from New Kidd On The Block, Callum Osmand – the keeper didn’t get near it!

  29. Good morning to all those basking in the warm glow from yesterday’s stunning victory.

Seems some journalists had been traumatised to such an extent by events they filed copy with scan details of Celtic’s goals – Ewen Murray posted this…..he was so upset he couldn’t bring himself to record the details of Celtic’s 3rd goal.

Maybe, he too, was in a hurry to leave on the Hearts coach.

“With 17 minutes to play, O’Neill opted to be bold. Substitutions meant Liam Scales was the only recognised central defender. Hearts had already involved Braga in their attack.

Engels lined up a 20-yard free kick for Celtic after Cammy Devlin had needlessly hauled him to the turf. The Belgian, however, could not keep the ball low enough. Moments later, Iheanacho struck the outside of Schwolow’s left-hand post. Schwolow’s 80th-minute, one-handed save from Benjamin Nygren came in a spell were Celtic were ramping up pressure.

That had mildly subsided by the time Maeda struck. The Japanese forward stole in to meet Osmand’s cross, reprieved by a video assistant referee check for offside. Chaos followed Osmand’s third goal. We have not heard the end of this fixture. Nor should we have.”

Pretty pathetic. Was anyone really assaulted (in a manner as our staff have been over the years)? No fan should be on the pitch but I’d like to think we’d be more gracious in defeat. They (the collective they) just can’t take it. We’ve been shite for most of the season but somehow, in a series of unbelievable moments, have done it. One more final push next week. I’d like to see something to mark our gratitude to our Japanese boys, who will surely be involved for the last time. Time for a major reset and some serious (whole) team building for next season. Now, I’m away to watch the highlights, yet again 😁

Hurts of midloathians crying crocodile tears, remember the Lenny assault. Hun and scoddish bigot tears are sweet.

5 wins post split was magnificent from this hoops team. They gave it all, hearts of lions. They deserved it big time, thank you Martin and the Celtic team. Daizen Maeda was immense in the run in. Five in a row was a special one, the fans did their bit too. Next up I’ll have a double.
