Looks like it is a matter of time till we take the lead here. Lustig doing well for me but how deep is Hooper??

We need to score 1st. This will be very difficult if they get a break away goal. Score 1st they open up and we pump them.
They’re are trying to do a Killie, if we score it’s game over. Like the look of Lustig. They are playing very narrow and choking the middle we need to keep getting down the wings and get the strikers in the box.
C’mon Bhoys.

Worrying thing is – there’s one or two of defenders looking a wee tad shaky and Lustig will feel he doesn’t need to defend he’s played so high up the park.

HT Celtic 0-0 Hearts
All Celtic in the first half. Hearts have been pinned in their own half and have shown nothing going forward. all we are missing is a a goal. Ki had our best chance but hit th epost with a header from 3 yds out. Hooper playing too deep at times but overall the bhoys have done fine
Reasonable first 45 minutes, well on top and with a wee bit of luck we’d be ahead.
I would swap Commons and Samaras for the second half – Sami would love the space out on the left wing, and Commons just behind Hooper.
Hearts are a disgrace. No attempt to play football or to attack. Playing for penalties already.
And what is this attempt to talk up Ian Black – “great footballer but a bit emtional”!?
Dreadful footballer and the epitome of the dirty wee thug that Scottish football has tolerated for far, far, too long.

Diets come to sit in & nick it. Posession 70% ~ 30% but Hoops 88 is sitting much too deep. Cross balls into the box for Commons not the way ahead. Lenny needs to get his thinking cap on in the break. We’ve played some nice stuff at times but need the breakthrough. If we get one, they’ll need to come out and play and that will be their downfall.

Good movement going forward in the last twenty minutes, especially on the right. That is keeping Hearts on the back foot. Not quite as effective on the left as yet. Would like to see Ki or Commons hit one or two from twenty yards, test the keeper. Or Lustig wide getting the ball across the six yard line for Hooper or Ledley. Keep the tempo up and the goal or goals will come.

It was a straight red for me.
Defence need to remain focused no complacency. I agree Move Sammi out to the left.
Lenny should boot Ki in the luv spuds for missing that – an open goal, harder to miss, the Korean Sebo :-)
Difficult, but we are getting some joy when we take the ball with back to goal on the edge of their box. We are getting full backs and midfield beyond the front players. I have a bee in my bunnet just now over Hooper. He looks less interested as the season goes on. If he watched the game develop he should know a front post run would either get him a goal or leave space behind for someone following up.

Causes nervousness among players and fans and leads to tension and mistakes late in the game.
