    Really happy with that. Enjoyed the game very much. like the new shirt. Liked the green brigade. most of all loved commons – outstanding player. i hope he never gets called up for scotland.

    Happy with that result and performance.

     

     

    Slightly annoyed we didn’t take any more of the good chances we made but after our European trip the priority today was always securing the 3 points.

     

     

    Kris and Izzy the standout performances for me.

     

     

    Kayal made an excellent contribution when he came on.

     

     

    Another clean sheet for big Fraser and the defence.

    Played some good stuff today, never at any time thought we were not going to win, even accounting for the match fixer, who was at his best today, a true master class in mibbery.

     

     

    can often be a bit flat after a euro game, so all in all a good win.

     

     

    Looking forward to Barca spanking Franco’s 11 later, should be good fun, hoping to see a few Real supporters greetin.

    Just back from game. Not in the habit of having a go at the referee, but, Craig Thompson was absolutely shocking. From making up his own 10yard rule, OTT tackles from them, shove on Izzy & plenty more.

    We are becoming a very cohesive unit.

     

    Izzy has looked excellent last 3 games.

     

    Commons was our best player.

     

    Craig Thompson was his usual cheating self and his 2 fellow brothers with flags ably assisted his failed cunning plan.

     

    We just need to quicken the tempo in the last 3rd and we will destroy teams at Celtic park.

    There is no doubt big Effe has bought Wilson more confidence at the back but Effe just looks to be a much better midfielder. Thought during the game he looked frustrated and bored and felt he was bursting to get more involved in the game as well as midfield.Let him loose Neil.Any news on wee Ibrahim.

    There wouldn’t have been many who would have risked anything like a ton on Stirling, fair play to yer man.

     

     

    The international games are easy enough to win, but as ever the odds are brutal.

     

     

    Not sure about Wales, they are as bad as scotland, Coleman seems to have lost the dressing room, might leave that one, but Belgium are a stick on.

     

     

    Will be a good home win for Catania today, looks like Juve are going to let me down for a 7 team acca, the other 6 are up :<(

    Although we were dominant today in the first half, I thought Hearts improved a lot in the 2nd. John McGlynn has them well organised and Taouil exercised a lot of control in midfield, even after Neil brought Beram on to clip his wings.

     

     

    Kris Commons was outstanding but a word for Kelvin Wilson who covered up for a few mistakes and only made one himself.

     

     

    We can improve on this.

     

     

    For a start, the Green Brigade should learn the words to Boolavogue instead of turning it into a doo-de-roo song :-)

    Sitting in Failte for a post game pint . Easy enough win against a decent if dull side. Commons and Lustig top men , wee Forrest wasn’t too hot but I’m happy.

    very proud of the team today, in the face of blatant cheating and foul play they kept their heads. Other bonuses , Izzy ( as I knew he would) looking class again, Kayal looking hungry and dominant again, we`ll need him as VW will be suspended for some big games this season and Kelvin Wilson making me eat my words.

     

    The clean sheet was important for a variety of reasons, it settles the back 5 and gives them a record to keep.

     

    As mentioned above, the sleekit cowardly refereeing by the 3 stooges today will be a feature of future SPL matches. The dying power base of the SFA and the SFRA must be put to the sword soon, they will become more and more desperate as time goes on. Still I will not let their futile acts spoil a good day, can Barca round it off nicely?

    Greetings from Riobamba, Equador, again. I haven’t sen any more Bhoy’s colours being sported but am proudly wearing my own. Barcelona hold sway. While drinking in the local culture, which has included helping to carry a statue of St. Francis halfway up a mountain, I have managed to keep in touch with what has been a very happy week for us. Viva Celtic!
