HT Celtic 1-0 Hearts
Splendid first half from the Bhoys. Entertaining football, just missing the killer touch in front of goal. Wouldn’t be surprised to see us scoring at least 2 more in the second half.
Defensively we have been solid. Kelvin Wilson having another good game despite one mistake that almost cost us a goal. Ambrose looks a player. Lustig and Izzy getting forward well and not stretched defensively. Commons the stand-out in midfield, Sammi excellent, James shown well at times and Hooper quiet (so far). Hope Charlie is ok, good to see Ledley out there again

After a European outing we are back to the agricultural style of the spl, as dictated by the mibs and the freewheelin’ anklegrinders who know they can chance it under the approving myopic vision of the scurrilous match officials.
I just hope we come away unscathed…..on the evidence I’d be surprised if we did.

I thought Wilson was fouled by Driver. If Hertz had scored from that, I would have credited Thomson with an assist.

Wilson definitely looked to be fouled. Hearts should have scored from the gift Thomson gave them…

Good upbeat performance from the Bhoys. Great work from Commons and running from Samaras and Hooper. Pass marks all round so far including the wobbles from our usual suspect :-)
Can’t wait to get back up for the matches. Watching on tv is ok but can’t beat Celtic Park in the sunshine and the Bhoys on top form.

Awe-Naw, he could have cleared his lines a bit earlier. He took a bit of a risk trying to sheppard the ball out which is dangerous when you are the last man. Thankfully no harm done. Very pleased to see him playing well this season.

The guy does not yet have stockholn syndrome. He cant figure in the mib factor like we do always. I thought he done the right thing and was diddled and booked for it. Its dissapointing that we as Celtic fans….some of us anyway …cannot make,allowances for that. I have to admit he looks better with Ambrose playing near him.
