HT Celtic 2-0 Hearts
Decent first half performance with Mathews and Wanyama the stand-outs. First 10 mins we were on fire with Mathews getting numerous opportunities down the right, two of which resulted in tap in goals for Hooper and Samaras. Victor has stopped Hearts doing anything in midfield and has looked good moving forward.
After the goals, the game settled down and a lot of poor first touches from Commons and Samaras broke up our forward play. Great to see Ledley back in the side – he gives us a lot of options going forward down the left. Hearts really poor, Zaluska has not had a single save to make. One more goal should allow Neil to use the bench. It would be good to see Stokes given a run out.

I worried about the match up of Sutton and Lustig but so far there has been no threat.

Hearts can’t live with us on the right. Matthews ripping them to bits time and again.
Good 1st half, looking for us to maintain the high tempo 2nd half and take 3 or 4 more goals from them.

Great performance in the first half. Hertz’ only chance is for Brines to come more into the game. He’s tried hard up until now but to no avail.
Matthews’ pace is doing a lot of damage.
He is a vastly improved player ths season, seems that Danny McGrain’s coaching is paying off.
