    I am not defending it. I want us to pick our battles.

     

     

    We cannot win the one this week. It’s set up with all the elements for a PR disaster for us if we let it. We must not and screaming hysterically and blaming everyone in Scotland for it will make hee haw by way of difference and only serve to make us look like the bad guys. Time for a new approach.

     

     

    If St Johnstone are genuinely trying to stop Pyro coming in wrapped in flags we need to keep our eyes on their Stadium from now until May (might only take to the next home game they have) and if there are flags from any other supporters at any other game in future then we have a legitimate case do we not?

     

     

    If we can show one rule for us tangibly then this is a start as far as I am concerned.

     

     

    It’s time we used our brains and think how we end this. It cannot be achieved by out and out naked defiance, we need something else.

     

     

    I am not the person to do that but how are we doing so far in ending this kind of harassment of our own support?

     

     

    We’ve all seen the kettling and nothing has changed

     

     

    The Green Brigade are gone and it would appear little has changed.

     

     

    FAC has been started but events in recent weeks I think have set them back because the moral high ground has been stripped away from them. Those who seek to demonize us now have Amsterdam, Fir park and the banning of the GB to throw at us (in two of those cases wrongly in my opinion but they have them).

     

     

    Someone told me that this OB law has a 70% approval rating among the general public. Now that is quite an astonishing figure. You don’t knock down such a figure by wrecking seats and continuing with Pyro. People go on to associate all these things alongside political expressions and then it fosters the idea that our fans are trouble.

     

     

    There has to be another way which is why I say pick your battles and be smarter. It is the only way. I am not saying just accept everything that is going on but ranting and raving is getting us nowhere fast and turning up on Thursday with flags and fighting about it (verbally or physically) won’t work.

     

     

    The events at Fir park played into the hands of those who want to see us dragged through the mud and it doesn’t take much for them to jump on that band wagon.

     

     

    My whole point is be smarter this time and don’t let Christmas and New Year be ruined for families because of this.

     

     

    If it is only a one off for our fans only then we know exactly where we stand and what we must do. If this is a new club policy in Perth, lets have them put it to the test every fortnight.

     

     

    If they don’t I’d say we’ve got them all. We need proof that this is only happening to our fans. Irrefutable proof.

     

     

    This would be a start.

     

     

    Rather than us fall into their traps (assuming it is a trap) how about we give them enough of a chance to make that mistake?

    Aye BCW, that was a gent called Natasoola. Kojo no one is calling for a ban on Celtic, people are talking about boycotting away games. You being a logical financial Guru should realise that the only people suffering would be our rivals. also the fact that people are losing out on attending away games will make them more likely to attend home ones, with more disposable income in their pockets. I reckon the Celtic nose will be in fine Romanesque shape whilst our rivals nasal equipment will be a little more the worse for wear. Makes Sense to me.Nice Chattin to you Pally, your pal who likes you a Loater.

    Let’s not kid ourselves on, this is merely another act targeting the Celtic support.
